The SHAFT Agency was founded on the philosophy that the worst supervillains on the planet aren't seeking world domination... they've already achieved it. Since the summer of 2002, the superheroes and secret agents of SHAFT have dedicated themselves to battling the true forces of darkness: the tyranny, greed, and corruption of the world's authoritarian governments and rapacious corporations.

The SHAFT Agency is fully staffed and equipped to fulfill all your superhero needs. Our agents are adept in every aspect of world-saving, with extensive experience in handling global disasters, alien invasions, secret societies, ancient conspiracies, giant monster attacks, and intergalactic search and rescue missions.

THE HISTORY OF SHAFT:

In response to the global threat posed by George W. Bush (better known as the supervillain President Evil 2) and the Legion of Terror, Ultimate Nick Fury founded the SHAFT Agency in the summer of 2002.

Rallying the earth's mightiest heroes into a worldwide resistance movement and recruiting the best secret agents into his new intelligence network, Fury began to turn the tables on Bush's criminal empire.

Bush has recently returned, however, in the form of President Evil: Apocalypse.

As the world stands once again on the brink of annihilation, Ultimate Nick Fury and the Agents of SHAFT must defend humanity from the dark forces of greed and corruption that seek to enslave and exploit it.

Supervillains have overthrown the American government. Only our superheroes can save us now.
