Keenan & Falcomon
Keenan was abducted by a Digital Gate as an infant and raised as a Digimon along with Falcomon by Frigimon. When Kurata's troops killed Frigimon, Keenan swore to always hate humans.
Keenan met the DATS team when they entered the Digital World looking for Merukimon. When Keenan fell ill the team helped him, instilling a bit of trust. Marcus carried him back to the real world where slowly began to accept that he was human and that not all humans are evil.

Merukimon
Merukimon is the guardian of the forested areas of the Digital World. After Frigimon's death Merukimon kept an eye on Keenan, witnessing his hatred of humans for destroying the harmony between the Digital World and the real world.
Although hot tempered, Merukimon is seen as more of a moderate and understanding Digimon. It is when Merukimon refused to lead an attack on the human world that Gotsumon, one of Merukimon's closest followers, decided to abandon him.

Gostumon
Gotsumon is Merukimon's long-time follower. His hatred for humans is even greater than Merukimon. Though small, Gotsumon has connections and is able to persuade Digimon for his own cause.
When Falcomon seeks help from DATS when Keenan fell ill, Gotsumon swears to get revenge by taking Keenan's life.

SaberLeomon
SaberLeomon sees the effects that the first group of humans caused in the Digital World. After DATS travels to the Digital world, SaberLeomon feels that Merukimon isn't being offensive enough against humans. Deciding to take matters in his own hands, SaberLeomon sends a wave of Digimon into the real world, delivering an all-out attack.
With his aggressive behavior compared to Merukimon's more passive behavior, Gotsumon decides to side with SaberLeomon. After SaberLeomon's attack fails, he begins to attack the human world himself. DATS is able to defeat him along with Kurata's 'help'.

Kurata
Kurata is one of the researchers in the original team sent to the Digital World to find Keenan. After his trip, Kurata began to view the Digital World as something the human race should fear. In an attempt to destroy the Digital World, Kurata took fallen Digimon and created a heartless, mindless army of Digimon named Gizumon. He commanded the Gizumon to cause distruction in the Digital World- killing Digimon and making it impossible for them to be reborn.
He is able to use artificial DNA to evolve Gizumon to Gizumon AT then to Gizumon XT.
