Takuya tells him to pretend like Tommy's his brother, and Koji goes running off in the direction WaruMonzaemon was headed. We find out Tommy is being held in a castle by the teddy bear. Takuya and Koji find him, and try to cross the draw bridge, but run into a few ShadowToyAgumon, and they close the draw bridge, making them fall into the water. Episode 8 - The Odd One Out
First Aired: 9/28/02
After their dazzling defeat from Gigasmon/Grumblemon, the children pummeled into a large hole and were separated into two groups. As Takuya, Koji, and Tommy frolicked in the Toy Town, Zoe, J.P., Bokomon, and Neemon had discovered a small village. Inside they found a small digimon school, taught by the one and only Miss Togemon. All of the small digimon were contently happy, except for one; Tsunomon. The other children rejected him, which made him quite depressed. Zoe and J.P. conversed with all the little digimon, and noticed that Tsunomon was ridiculed. They begin to run after him. Despite their best efforts, the little digimon falls into a small river. Zoe attempts to rescue him, but begins to drown herself. Then, little Tsunomon digivolves to Gabumon, and saves Zoe! Both Zoe and J.P. are enthrawled. He begins to tell his fateful story, of the day that he first digivolved in front of the other digimon children to retrieve their entangled ball. But even when the ball is returned, the other digimon fear that the now larger Tsunomon will harm them. Zoe and J.P. attempt to go back to the village and fix this, but it begins to rain; hard. When they get back to the village, Togemon informs them that when it rains, the river water overcedes and begins the rampage of the flood waters. Zoe and J.P. infer that it's time to Spirit Digivolve, and save the village from the flood. Kazemon and Beetlemon have no problem at doing this, but to make matters worse, Kapurimon, one of the student digimon, is swept away by the flood waters! Kazemon and Beetlemon are busy, so they pleed Tsunomon to digivolve and help Kapurimon. Tsunomon refuses, but after a little persuading, he finally digivolves and rescues Kapurimon! The other small digimon are no longer afraid of Tsunomon, but the best of friends. With everything back to normal, Zoe, J.P., Bokomon, and Neemon set off to find the others. But at the exact same moment, Takuya, Koji, and Tommy parachute from ToyAgumon's plane! With the others back and their spirits high, they set off to the Forest Terminal, as if nothing could stop them... [Crimson]
Episode 9 - Welcome to my Nightmare
First Aired: 11/11/02
As the episode begins, The Legendary Warriors are still attempting to reach the Forest Terminal. J.P. begins to complain that they have been walking too long. The group decides to take a rest. As they find a place to camp, Tommy notices a shadowy figure lurking in the bushes. Zoe finds a meat apple, which is an apple that has various flavors of meat. Tommy, Bokomon, and Neemon accompany her to find some more, while Takuya, Koji, and J.P. go to find some fire wood. They all fulfill their desired needs and set up camp. They realize the meat apples are grossly unediblely raw. They roast them in the newly started fire. As their food cooks, the children begin discussing beast spirits. They began to become interested when Grumblemon evolved to Gigasmon. Takuya asks Bokomon to search his book on beast spirits. Bokomon finds nothing, but Neemon finds a page that is folded over. They uncover some information on beast spirits. They realize that their dinner is burning, so they quickly devour it. Clouds begin to muffle the light of the three digital moons. Many "T.V.'s" begin showing up on barks of trees. Each screen shows a different scene from the real world. Zoe see's her school, while Tommy, see's his worried mother. The clouds fade from the sky and the screens disappear. Tommy desperately wants to keep watching his mother, but only depresses himself more. Takuya offers him a hotdog apple to cheer him up, but to no avail. Zoe infers that Takuya could be Tommy's bigger brother. J.P. attempts to cheer the small child up with magic tricks. Koji sits alone by a tree in the back of the camp. Tommy is slightly happier, and wanders over to a strange part of the forest. A strange digimon jumps from the bushes and infects Tommy with the Nightmare Syndrome. Tommy turns around, and quietly goes to bed. J.P. has been chosen to keep watch during the night, despite his best efforts not to. Before Takuya falls asleep, he points out to J.P. that a shadowy figure just sprinted past them. They think nothing of it at the time. As the others sleep, Tommy divulges a nightmare. He sees his mother, but the chosen children are holding him back from her. He begins to believe the others are his enemy, and abruptly wakes up. He grabs a stick slightly lighted with small cynders. He begins swinging it and awakens the others. They attempt to figure out what has gone wrong with the boy, but to no succession. He begins to chant, "I will never forgive you...". He spirit evolves to Kumamon and starts using his Crystal Freeze technique. They all agree not to spirit evolve, as not to hurt the boy. Takuya and Koji notice the shadowy figure once again. Koji finds suspicious of this and spirit evolves to Lobomon. He uses his sword to light up the forest. They find that the shadowy figure is in fact a digimon; Bakumon. The same little digimon that infected Tommy. Takuya spirit evolves to Agunimon, and all J.P. does is complain that Takuya and Koji broke their pact. As Lobomon defends himself against Kumamon, Agunimon is taking care of Bakumon. Bakumon attempts to infect Agunimon with the Nightmare Syndrome but Takuya realizes the nightmare he is having is not real. He tries to convince Kumamon that it's just a nightmare, a dream. He then blasts Bakumon with an earth-shattering blow of fire, and absorbs the evil fractal code inplanted in him by Cherubimon. Kumamon reverts back to Tommy, and is disinfected. Bakumon apoligises for his unweary behavior, being controlled by Cherubimon. The night is calmed as the children lay to sleep. Koji lays awake, as his D-Tector begins to communicate with him. He learns that some how, he must grow, and find his beast spirit. What are the beast spirits? How many more digimon will Cherubimon enroll to fight the children? And will they ever be able to defeat Grumblemon? Only time, will tell... [TKTakeru]
Episode 10 - Can't Keep a Grumblemon Down
First Aired: 11/12/02
The episode begins with Takuya, Zoe, J.P., and Tommy, running around frantically, worried about Mr. Do-It-On-My-Own-Koji, who has apparently left the scene. A bright light catches Zoe's eye...the sun. It's then they notice that Neemon and Bokomon are gone as well, and find a note from Koji. They read the note, and swap opinions about Koji. J.P. get's angry and rips up the note, while Takuya kicks at the round, and brings up the fact that Koji will most likely not worry about protecting Bokomon and Neemon. Then, he comes up with a bright idea, look for them! We're brought to the scene of a Gotsumon, studying an encryption on a large stone object. He says something about "the third eye". We are finally shown Bokomon, and Neemon, who are apparently following Koji, without him knowing it. We see Koji stop for a drink, and it's then that he notices that the two are following him, and runs off only to find himself on the edge of a cliff, and Bokomon and Neemon on his back don't help, thus he falls, tumbling down until they collide with the same Gotsumon we saw earlier. As usual Bokomon has to give his information about the newly discovered Digimon. Bokomon asks the stranger if he might know where the Forest Terminal is, and Gotsumon must be stubborn, and not tell them. Bokomon suggests that they follow Gotsumon, and they do. Gotsumon notices they are following him, so he climbs onto a rock, and blends in. Shortly after, he turns back to his normal form, due to Koji talking to him. It's then that we see something happening near by, and then we see a shadowy figure, who might it be? Gigasmon of course. Gigasmon Slide Evolves to Grumblemon, and Gotsumon attempts to go after Grumblemon, and fight him. That's when our hero Koji, Spirit Evolves to Lobomon, to save the day. Then, Gotsumon notices that Koji has turned himself into a Digimon, and not just any Digimon, but a legendary warrior! Grumblemon and Lobomon converse, Grumblemon Slide Evolves to Gigasmon, and the fighting begins. Gotsumon attempts to get in on the action, when he notices Lobomon lying on the ground, and attempts to help him. He notices a jewel falling into the cracks of the ground. Then, we hear Gigasmon calling for Lobomon, searching for him. Gotsumon covers Lobomon using his own body, and turns himself into stone, matching the ground and hiding Lobomon from Gigasmon. Lobomon sits up, thanks his savior, and they flee the scene, before Gigasmon finds them. We are briefly shown numerous other Gotsumon, and taken back to Koji, Bokomon, Neemon, and Gotsumon. Gotsumon tosses Koji a clam, in hopes it will make him feel better. Gotsumon leaves, determined he'll defeat Grumblemon. Other Gotsumon try talking him out of it before he makes Grumblemon come after them all. Koji overhears some of the other Gotsumon talking, and hears them mention the "spirit". Koji knows if Grumblemon gets that he'll never stop him. We are taken to the scene of the three stone figures, on with the mark of Light on it. The same mark that's on Lobomon, and that appeared in Koji's D-Tector. Bokomon searches for an encryption but finds nothing. Back at the place where Gigasmon and Lobomon clashed earlier, we spot Gotsumon searching for the jewel he eyed earlier. We now the rest of the gang, Takuya, Tommy, Zoe, and J.P., as well as Grumblemon, who spots the kids and Slide Evolves to Gigasmon, and attacks them. Not to far from here, is Gotsumon who finds the third jewel. Koji, Bokomon, and Neemon are also not far from Gigasmon and the gang, thus they hear the racket and go to investigate. Takuya, Zoe, Tommy, and J.P. Spirit Evolve to Agunimon, Kazemon, Kumamon, and Beetlemon, to fight the evil warrior of Earth. The four unleash their attacks, "Pyro Tornado", "Tempest Twist", "Crystal Freeze", and "Thunder Fist", on Gigasmon, yet none of them do any good, as Gigasmon unleashes "Quaqmire Twister", which reveals Kumamon's Digicode ring! Luckily for him, but unluckily for his savior, Kazemon steps in to protect the Human Spirit of Ice. In this heroic act, Kazemon's Digicode ring appears. Unfortunately, there's no one to save this spirit, thus Gigasmon takes the Human Spirit of Wind, converting Kazemon back to Zoe. As Agunimon and Beetlemon charge at him, he de-volves back to Grumblemon, hits Agunimon and Beetlemon at the same time, causing them to fall the ground, revealing THEIR Digicode rings. Luckily for them, Lobomon appears to stop Grumblemon. Getting beat up by Lobomon, he once again Slide Evolves back to Gigasmon. He then finds Lobomon running away, and of course he chases him, leaving the others. We are once again taken back to Gotsumon, who is accompanied by Bokomon and Neemon. We see Gotsumon climbing up the stone figure, with the jewel in hand. Gigasmon has caught up with Lobomon, thus they clash once again, but this time, Gigasmon has the upper hand. Gigasmon uses "Quaqmire Twister", knocking Lobomon into the stone figure, the same stone figure that Gotsumon is climbing. This reveals Lobomon's Digicode ring, and Gigasmon charges at him. Gotsumon once again steps up to save Lobomon, this time attacking Gigasmon with "Rock Fist", keeping him from getting Koji's Spirit, and giving Koji the chance to insert the jewel into the slot on the figure, releasing the Beast Spirit of Light, and allowing Koji to Spirit Evolve to KendoGarurumon. As we hear from Bokomon, Koji can't control his Beast Spirit yet, thus he goes on a rampage, slamming into trees. KendoGarurumon and Gigasmon clash, sending Gigasmon into the water, and de-volving KendoGarurumon back to a worn out, beaten Koji, who falls back, and off the cliff. Yet again, Gotsumon is there to save him. The team is now reunited, and Koji has his Beast Spirit. [Blitz]

Episode 12 - Fear and Loathing in Los Arboles
First Aired: 11/14/02
The episode begins with Takuya, as BurningGreymon, on a rampage, attackingBeetlemon and KendoGarurumon. Why you ask? He is unable to control his BeastSpirit, just like Kouji had a rough time controlling the Beast Spirit of Light.Beetlemon and KendoGarurumon try talking Takuya out of attacking them, but asKouji should know very well, it's not very useful. While Takuya fights tocontrol his Beast Spirit, and as we see the Beast of Fire giving a loud yell, our other heroes ponder of a way to stop the rampaging Digimon. As a worried Zoelooks on from the sidelines, the fighting continues, with KendoGarurumon firinghis "Lupine Laser" attack, which BurningGreymon dodges and counterattacks.KendoGarurumon is about to get it good when Beetlemon steps in, attacking theunsuspecting BurningGreymon, buying the two time to run.BurningGreymon then fires his "Pyro Barrage" attack, which knocks down a fewtrees, and sets the forest on fire. KendoGarumon comes up with a not-so-brightidea of chopping down the trees with his "Howling Star" attack. As Bokomon,Neemon, and Zoe run off to safety, away from the fire, Tommy visions himselfSpirit Evolving to Kumamon, and using "Crystal Freeze" to kill the fire, andstates. "If I could only Spirit Evolve to Kumamon...but I can't". Zoe wakesTommy from his daydream, and drags him along. We now see BurningGreymon attackKendoGarurumon and Beetlemon, and for a moment, come to his senses, but only fora short time, before he lunges at his friends, then gives another loud cry. Zoeand Bokomon converse, and Bokomon tells Zoe that Takuya must learn to controlthe Beast Spirit on his on, and that sooner or later he will. Beetlemon finallygets a good hit on BurningGreymon, and it is then Tommy realizes that his friendneeds him. He then reminises back to a time in the real world, when he spottedsome bullies picking on a little kid, while he sat on the swing and watched, anddid nothing, until the bullies grew tired of their victim and turned to Tommy, who ran. Tommy then awakes from his second daydream, to find Beetlemon beeingthrown to the ground by none other than the same boy who brought Tommy to hissences when a spell was cast on him to make him turn on his friends. That's whenhe takes a stand against BurningGreymon, giving a rather touching speach, whichcauses the Beast of Fire to release yet another loud roar. Beetlemon andKendoGarurumon step in to help bring Takuya to control his Beast Spirit. As theimage of Tommy in Takuya's view is morphed into a quite ugly creature,BurningGreymon picks Tommy up with one hand, and then is reminded of theirbattle with the Evil Kumamon and that it was Agunimon, Takuya, himself, thathelped Tommy gain control of himself. Tommy continues his speach, as he sheds atear that falls intro the red eyes of BurningGreymon, bringing Takuya to controlof his Beast Spirit. After realizing what he had done, BurningGreymon, nowcontrolled by Takuya, bashes his head on a rock, then gives one last roar, before de-volving to a sobbing Takuya. He then thinks about what could havehappened, had he not come to his sences when he did. Takuya thanks Tommy, and isreminded that he has 2 spirits to regain from Grumblemon. The gang desides justto continue on, and that they will eventually run into the evil LegendaryWarrior of Earth, and have one more chance to get the Human Spirit of Ice, andHuman Spirit of Wind, back from him. As they continue on, the gang runs into atree with rather odd roots, forming the shape of a maze, in which they eachattempt to walk the correct roots, and end up at the "O" at the end of the maze.Takuya and Tommy win, and the ground below the losers turn to what seems to bequicksand. With most of our heroes trapped in quicksand, Grumblemon appears, throws a few words, and notices that Takuya looks slightly nervous whenmentioning having his Beast Spirit, which gives Grumblemon the idea that hecan't control it. He then pulls out his weapon and gives one swing, which leadsTakuya to helping Tommy up a tree, thinking it would be a safe place for him tostay while the two battled. Things took a turn for the worse when GrumblemonSlide Evolved to Gigasmon. Takuya then desides to Spirit Evolve, but not to hisnewly aquired Beast Spirit, for fear that he won't be able to control it, andhistory will repeat itself. So, he Spirit Evolves to Agunimon, and instead ofusing a fire attack, he uses physical attacks to ensure that that forest won'tcatch on fire again. He lunges his body at Gigasmon, but doesn't phase him.Gigasmon then uses "Quagmire Twister", knocking Agunimon high into the air, andof course, what goes up...must come down. Tommy is then apprehended by the evilEarth Warrior, and is pursued by Agunimon. Before Agunimon can attack, he is hitby Gigasmon, which caused him to fall out of the tree, which then caused him tode-volve. With a little encouragement from his friends, and Tommy's speach andcourage in mind, he himself works up the courage to Spirit Evolve to the BeastWarrior of Fire, BurningGreymon. Then, he uses a an uprooted tree to free Tommyfrom Gigasmon's grasp, and then makes a diving catch to safe his friend from apainful landing. BurningGreymon and Gigasmon continue battling, asBurningGreymon is about to use a fire attack, he remembers not to set the foreston fire, and instead uses his large tail to knock Gigasmon back. He then SlideEvolves to Agunimon, leading Gigasmon out of the forest, where Gigasmon uses"Tectonic Slam", putting a large crater in the ground. It's then that AgunimonSlide Evolves back to BurningGreymon, uses "Pyro Barrage" to weaken Gigasmon, then "Wildfire Tsunami" to finish him off. He then gains control of the BeastSpirit of Earth, and regains the Human Spirit of Ice, and returns it to it'srightful owner, but is not in time to get back the Human Spirit of Wind, or theHuman Spirit of Earth. Grumblemon then appears from the momentarely un-movableGigasmon, and flees back to meat his other Evil co-workers, Ranamon(Human Hybridof Water), Mercurymon(Human Hybrid of Steel), Arbormon(Human Hybrid of Wood),and the anti-sociable Duskmon(Human Hybrid of Darkness). Takuya then states abutthe long road ahead, and the episode ends. [Blitz]

Duskmon sends a crescent of red energy towards them; they dodge the intense blow as it shatters the ground. Duskmon laughs as they become bewildered about Duskmon's mighty power. MetalKabutarimon uses Bolo Thunder which creates a thick cloud of dust and debris around Duskmon as BruningGreymon enters it. BurningGreymon tries to snatch Duskmon, but Duskmon disappears and reappears behind him, quickly tossing him over. Duskmon proclaims the group very weak and gives them the chance to surrender; obviously they decline. KendoGarurumon tells MetalKabutarimon and KoriKakumon to switch to their Human Spirits and they do so along with KendoGarurumon. They charge Duskmon, and Lobomon unleashes Lobo Kendo. Him and Dukmon lock swords. The other Hybrids, minus Takuya comes in to attack, but their attacks just get Duskmon in the air and he unleashes Death Gaze, sending deadly beams of crimson red light for all the large eyeballs located on his body. The ground shatters, but they manage to dodge the attack. BurningGreymon struggles to get up, getting Duskmon's attention. He is able to get to his feet and he hit Duskmon with a pretty powerful Wildfire Tsunami. The tornado of fire engulfs Duskmon. Lobomon sprints up to BurningGreymon, telling him they must get far away from Duskmon. Against his will, BurningGreymon leaves with the rest. Once gone, Duskmon rips through the flames with his skull head. The kids venture down the trail, as Takuya speculates on wether he killed Duskmon or not. The group thinks he's still alive. Takuya blames Koji for running away and thinks it was a bad idea. Takuya, being full of himself, puts Koji down for being cautious. They decide to find a safe place to think up of a plan. Bokomon's hunger breaks up the heated dispute so they find some food and water and a place to keep safe. J.P. starts a fire and Zoe joins him. Zoe is worried about Koji and Takuya but J.P. explains to her that these disputes are bound to happen. If Takuya was less hot heated, and Koji did less calculations, there would be less disputes, but it would throw a lot of things off balance. It's a combination of everyone's differences that makes up the balance. Zoe imagines 2 Takuya's in the group. She becomes frightened at the idea and thanks J.P. for helping her realize that and complements him for being more then she thought. Everyone collects the food and water. Meanwhile, Duskmon searches for the kids with his wondering eyes. Takuya announces his big plan: attack all at once. Nice plan, seeing as they already tried it. But Tommy crafted some nicely made figures off all the Digimon out of leaves and twigs so they could visualize where they would be at what time. Agunimon was to hold Duskmon still while the B Spirit Digimon attacked. Koji interrupts, saying it wouldn't work. Koji thinks they should run away; Duskmon is WAY too strong. Takuya: "I'm not stupid you know. I know that."
Koji: "Sometimes I really don't think you do. There's no second chances for us, get it? If we mess up here, it's over."
Takuya: "Yeah.. I, I know."
Koji: "Then how can you stake our lives on some plan that you only assume is going to work. We don't know anything about this guy."
Takuya: "So, w..what? We'll all be safe if we run away?!"
Koji: "ARG! I didn't say that!"
Takuya: "Then what are you saying?!"
Koji: *Grabs Takuya by the collar* "Listen Takuya, you weren't there when I crossed swords with him, OK? I dought that he was using even half his strengh against me. That whole fight all he was doing was playing with us."
Takuya: "Yeah, OK, maybe, but we're the good-guys! There must be a way to win!"
Koji: "He's too strong!"
Takuya: "I know he's strong, but everytime we run into someone more powerful then us we work togather and everything has turned out fine! I really beleive that if we just attack as one, we can't loose!"
Koji: "UGH. Takuya open your eyes."
Takuya: "Open your own eyes. We're more powerful togather then you think."
Koji: "You just don't get it do you? Tell me something, it's obvious you don't care about yourself, but can you promise me the others won't get hurt? Because if you can't, then you better just go home now, because I won't risk their lives."

Outside of Sakkakumon, Tommy, Bokomon, and Neemon wait anxiously for their companions to escape the giant digimon. Zoe is looking for her friends, as a group of Honeybeemon watch. They are members of Ranamon's fan club, clearly evidenced by their headbands, buttons, and signs. They intend to capture Zoe and give her to Ranamon as a gift. Oblivious to all of this, Zoe remembers another time she was alone. She was hiking and helped an injured girl. The two girls became friends. A failed attempt to capture Zoe traps the Honeybeemon in their wooden cage. Noticing them, Zoe Spirit Evolves to Kazemon and releases them. Undeterred, the Honeybeemon try to lure Kazemon into a large web by pretending to be stuck to it, but she cuts through the web with ease and releases them again. Still refusing to give up, they try to drop a tree on her, but their plan backfires, and Kazemon saves them...again. Alone inside a tunnel, Koji dashes through an eye portal in search of the others. A Parrotmon attacks Takuya, so he Spirit Evolves to Agunimon and defeats the giant bird with ease (fried chicken, anyone?). She is hesitant to take their food, but they insist. Annoyed their lack of progress, Ranamon gives them a poison apple to feed to Zoe. Reluctantly, they give it to her, and she eats the evil fruit. Poisoned, Zoe flashes back to the camping trip she had been on once in the Real World. The girl she had helped earlier while hiking invited Zoe to eat with her group, but the other girls rejected her. Back in the present, Zoe struggles with that and her recent betrayal by the Honeybeemon as Ranamon laughs cruelly. Starving, J.P. is delighted to discover a large cherry tree. Unbeknownst to him, the tree is actually a Cherrymon, who attacks him. He Spirit Evolves to Beetlemon and purifies the Cherrymon. An eye portal transports him outside to the waiting Tommy, Bokomon, and Neemon. Looking up at Sekkakumon, they are alarmed to Zoe and Ranamon's shadows cast upon the surface of one of the globes. Kazemon then slide evolves into the beautiful Zephrymon to the delight of the Honeybeemon, who cheer for her. Totally enraged at this point, Ranamon slide evolves into the hideous Calmaramon to the great surprise of the Honeybeemon, who cheer for her as well, albeit somewhat less enthusiastically. Although Calmaramon seems to have the upper hand, Zephrymon refuses to concede and wins the whole support of the Honeybeemon through her determination. Encouraged, Zephrymon attacks Calmaramon and purifies Ranamon, taking her Human and Beast Spirits in the process. Zoe reverts to human form as the Honeybeemon cheer on their new idol. Cherubimon appeared behind him promising him power in his new dark world. With that, they all enter the Trailmon that JP, Tommy, and Zoe had ridden on, and take off towards the Rose Morning Star to rescue Ophanimon. Koji and Koichi sit in different cabins, and don't talk. When Trailmon takes a break, Takuya and the others talk to Koji and make him feel better. Koichi wonders why they don't blame him for trying to kill them all. Trailmon takes off again and Patamon begins to talk to Koichi, telling him where ever there is light, there is darkness and that he shouldn't feel bad being darkness. Patamon then senses something coming-- it's CHERUBIMON!! The DigiDestined evolve, minus Koichi, and take Cherubimon on. All of their attacks are useless, even Aldamon and Beowolfmon's. Cherubimon attacks them all, dedigivolving everyone. Koichi takes a stand against Cherubimon, and Koji's Digivice lights up, sending the Spirits of Darkness towards him. A Digivice appears in front of Koichi and the Spirits of Darkness mutate into non-corrupt Spirits of Darkness. Koichi Spirit Evolves to Loewemon and attacks Cherubimon, doing some real damage. He Slide Evolves into JagerLoewemon and succeeds in 'killing' Cherubimon. But something's not right. His Fractal Code didn't appear. Koichi said it was just a dark clone of Cherubimon. Inside, Cherubimon guards his collection of stolen data. The kids Spirit Evolve to their human forms and advance. Cherubimon feels their presence and heads to Ophanimon's holding room to taunt her. The Legendary Warriors head towards the gate to enter the castle, but a couple of Phantomon are protecting the door. They capture everyone but Loewemon inside their soul-snatching crystals. Loewemon breaks the crystals, killing the Phantomon instantly, returning the others, and opening the gate. They come to a room in the castle with bits of floating data and many different stairs going in many different directions and angles. Hands begin to emerge from the bits of data and shadowy figures appear in them. A bell rings before the hands can reach the children. Oryxmon appears, telling them the room's a prison for those souls who have scarified themselves for Cherubimon's cause. They follow Oryxmon to Ophanimon's holding room. There, Ophanimon explains how Cherubimon would never agree with Seraphimon and Ophanimon on governing the Digital World and he mistook that as him being left out because he's a beast type Digimon. He organized an army of beast types to attack the human types. He locked Ophanimon up, and imprisoned Seraphimon in a crystal in his own castle. He took the five Spirits that he had and made his dark Legendary Warriors collect data to make him stronger. While imprisoned, Ophanimon took the chance to call out to another world, children with pure hearts. Luckily she knew where Seraphimon hid the Spirits that he possessed so she guided the children to them. It was at that time, Cherubimon found his own child to hand the Spirit of Darkness to. Cherubimon hears the conversation she had with the kids and calls her a fool. His plan the whole time was to let them in the castle to gather all the Spirits together for him to take! [TKTakeru]
