Digimon Adventure Episode Guide | |
AND SO IT BEGINS... (Episode 1) Seven kids at summer
camp are mysteriously transported to another reality, where
they are befriended by a group of strange creatures who call
themselves "Digimon," digital monsters. The seven companion
Digimon prove to be more than good company when they transform
into larger digital monsters and fight as a team to defend the
kids from a giant red beetle Digimon.
|
| THE BIRTH OF GREYMON (Episode 2) While running to escape from
the evil Kuwagamon, the kids are knocked off a cliff. As they
plunge to a river far below, Gomamon has the fish in the river
break their fall, saving everyone. On a beach near the river,
the kids discover a series of phone booths, but the phones inside
just spout gibberish. While they're investigating, they're attacked
by Shellmon, an evil Digimon. To save Tai, Agumon digivolves
to Greymon and defeats Shellmon. The kids and their Digimon
friends decide to search for whoever built the phone booths.
|
|
GARURUMON (Episode 3) The kids and their Digimon counterparts
run into an angry Monochromon, who is fighting with a look-alike
trying to take over his territory. The kids get away and discover
a deserted bus by a lake, where they camp for the night. But
the bus is parked on top of a giant Digimon called Seadramon.
The kids fall into the water and the Digimon try to fend off
the monster. Gabumon digivolves to Garurumon and defeats Seadramon.
|
|
BIYOMON GETS FIREPOWER (Episode 4) The kids follow telephone
lines to the village of Yokomon at the foot of Mt. Miharashi,
a volcano guarded by the flaming Meramon. When Meramon is hit
by a flying Black Gear, he becomes violent and attacks the village.
The Digimon try to stop him, but their powers are useless against
his fireballs. Biyomon, realizing that Sora is in danger, digivolves
to the firebird Birdramon and drives the Black Gear out of Meramon,
bringing him under control.
|
|
KABUTERIMON'S ELECTRO SHOCKER (Episode 5) The kids come
upon an odd factory that manufactures useless machinery but
also produces power. They find Andromon trapped in the factory,
and he attacks them when they free him. Agumon and Gabumon evolve
into Greymon and Garurumon to fight Andromon, but they're defeated.
Tentomon digivolves to Kabuterimon and attacks Andromon's wounded
leg, dislodging a Black Gear. Restored to his normal, good self,
Andromon directs the kids to a tunnel that leads out of the
factory.
|
|
TOGEMON IN TOY TOWN (Episode 6) Following an underground
passage, the kids are attacked by a group of sewer-dwelling
Numemon. They escape, only to end up in Toy Town, where they
are captured by a giant Teddy Bear Digimon, Monzaemon. The Numemon,
one of whom has a crush on Mimi, come to their rescue, and when
Palmon digivolves to the giant cactus form of Togemon, they
defeat Monzaemon, who had been controlled by one of the evil
Black Gears.
|
|
HARPOON TORPEDO (Episode 7) The kids are trying to decide
whether they should climb a mountain to get a view of the island,
but while they argue, Joe decides to climb it by himself. He
is followed by Gomamon, and they're attacked by Unimon, who
is controlled by a Black Gear. Sora, Tai and Birdramon show
up to help them, but when Birdramon is knocked out, Gomamon
digivolves to Ikkakumon and destroys the Black Gear. Unimon
flies off, and the kids climb to the top of the mountain and
see that there are no other islands in sight.
|
|
EVIL SHOWS HIS FACE (Episode 8) Leomon, a powerful Good
Digimon, is struck by a Black Gear, making him a slave to Devimon,
the ruler of the Bad Digimon. Devimon orders Leomon and Ogremon,
a mighty Bad Digimon, to attack the "DigiDestined"-the kids.
The the kids and their Digimon hold them off long enough to
escape and hide in a luxury hotel, but the hotel turns out to
be a trick of Devimon's, and the exhausted group is again attacked.
The kids are saved when Sora's Digivice transforms Leomon back
to his good nature, and he detains Ogremon while they escape.
|
|
SUBZERO ICE PUNCH (Episode 9) Tai and Agumon become marooned
in Freeze Land, where they encounter the snowman Yukidarumon,
who is controlled by a Black Gear. When Agumon and Tai free
Yukidarumon, he leads them to another frozen island, where they
find Matt and Gabumon. As Matt and Tai try to decide what to
do next, they're attacked by another Black Gear-controlled creature,
Mojamon. Their Digimon digivolve to Greymon and Garurumon and
destroy the Black Gear. With the threat ended, the group notices
that Infinite Mountain is drawing near again.
|
|
A CLUE FROM THE DIGI-PAST (Episode 10) Mimi and Palmon
are accosted by Sukamon and Chuumon, two Digimon who want to
kiss Mimi. Fleeing, they come across Izzy and Tentomon. While
Izzy tries to decipher the hieroglyphs in some jungle ruins,
Mimi and Tentomon wander off and are attacked by Centarumon,
a Black Gear-possessed Digimon. Izzy arrives and restores Centarumon
to his good self, and Centarumon tells them that their Digivices
resemble a legendary mystical weapon against evil. Leomon arrives
to attack the kids, but they escape with Centarumon's help.
|
|
THE DANCING DIGIMON (Episode 11) Adrift at sea, Joe and
Gomamon are attacked by Ogremon, but Gomamon digivolves to Ikkakumon
and defeats him. Soon after the fight, the two are rescued from
their sinking craft by Sora and Biyomon, who pull them back
to shore. Travelling on, the four come upon a church service.
The pastor leading the service and his parishioners are ghosts
called Bakemon. Gomamon and Biyomon digivolve to Ikkakumon and
Birdramon to fight the Bakemon, and with the help of some quick
thinking by Joe, they defeat him. With the threat ended, the
two kids and their Digimon go off in search of their friends.
|
|
DIGIBABY BOOM (Episode 12) T.K. and Patamon, still separated
from the others, arrive at Primary Village, which is full of
bright colors, fun shapes and lots of Baby Digimon. Elecmon,
caretaker of the Baby Digimon and Digieggs, shows up and fights
with Patamon. When the babies start crying, though, T.K. convinces
the Digimon to settle their differences in a tug of war, which
Patamon wins. As a result of the duel, T.K., Patamon and Elecmon
learn the value of joining together and sense that when their
hearts are as one, the shattered File Island will return to
normal. Devimon, of course, has other plans for the kids and
the Digital World…
|
|
THE LEGEND OF THE DIGIDESTINED (Episode 13) T.K. and
Patamon are attacked by Leomon and Ogremon. The rest of the
kids arrive and use their Digivices-devices that destroy Black
Gears-on Leomon, returning him to his good self. Leomon tells
the kids of the legend of the "DigiDestined," who will bring
peace to the island. The kids realize they might be able to
return home if they destroy Devimon, so they go after him. When
it becomes clear that the Digimon aren't powerful enough to
defeat Devimon, even in their digivolved states, Patamon digivolves
to Angemon. He uses all his power to destroy Devimon and devolves
into a Digiegg.
|
|
DEPARTURE
FOR A NEW CONTINENT (Episode 14) Gennai asks the kids to
come to the continent of Server to defeat his enemies. He tells
them that if they can find certain tags and crests that Devimon
hid, their Digimon will be able to digivolve to the next level.
The kids and their Digimon sail a raft to Server, but they're
swallowed by Whamon en route. They remove a Black Gear from
Whamon's stomach, and in return he takes them to where Devimon
hid the tags. The kids and their Digimon defeat Drimogemon,
remove his Black Gear, and recover the tags.
|
|
THE DARK NETWORK OF ETEMON (Episode 15) The kids arrive
at Server and encounter a village inhabited by Pagumon, tricksters
who, with the help of the Gazimon, have imprisoned the real
inhabitants of the village, the Koromon. The kids rescue the
Koromon and the Pagumon leave, but Etemon and his Dark Network
appear and destroy the village. When the Digimon try to digivolve
to fight him, Etemon stops them with his rock 'n' roll Concert
Crush. The kids and their Digimon are forced to flee into a
cave, where Tai finds the Crest of Courage.
|
|
THE ARRIVAL OF SKULLGREYMON (Episode 16) Izzy explains
that to digivolve, the Digimon need two things: their human
partner must be in danger, and they must have a lot of energy.
Since he's the only kid with a crest, Tai stuffs Agumon with
food so he'll have the energy to digivolve to his ultimate form
if it's needed. Joe's tag leads the group to a Coliseum where
his crest should be, but Etemon sends an evil Greymon to attack
them. Agumon digivolves to a new form, SkullGreymon, a savage
killing machine. SkullGreymon defeats evil Greymon, then turns
on the other Digimon before he runs out of energy and digivolves
back to Koromon. Joe finds his crest.
|
|
THE CREST OF SINCERITY (Episode 17) The kids and their
Digimon are walking through a barren desert when Gennai appears
to tell them that they must take care of their Digimon or they
won't digivolve properly. Suddenly, a huge cruise ship appears.
Everyone boards it, but it turns out it's piloted by Cockatrimon,
one of Etemon's henchmen. He captures the boys and turns their
Digimon to stone, then corners the girls. Birdramon and Togemon
fight him off, freeing the boys and their Digimon, and everyone
flees, but Cockatrimon chases them in his ship. Then a giant
cactus appears and destroys the ship. Mimi finds her crest,
the Crest of Sincerity.
|
|
THE PIXIMON COMETH (Episode 18) The kids and their Digimon
are still walking through the desert in search of crests when
they're attacked by Kuwagamon. Agumon, troubled by his experience
as SkullGreymon, is afraid to digivolve, and things look bad
until Piximon, a famous trainer of Digimon, appears and saves
them. Piximon takes them to his home and trains the Digimon.
Tyranomon, one of Etemon's henchmen, attacks, and the value
of Piximon's training is proven when Agumon digivolves to Greymon
and defeats the ferocious monster. Matt and Izzy find their
crests.
|
|
THE PRISONER OF THE PYRAMID (Episode 19) Answering an
e-mail plea for help, the kids learn the secret of the DigiWorld-it's
actually a computer program, and everything in it (including
the kids) are just data given form. This knowledge makes Tai
feel invulnerable-his real body is safe in the real world. The
kids find the source of the e-mail, Datamon, a robot who's been
held prisoner by Etemon for years. The kids free Datamon, but
he turns on them and kidnaps Sora and Biyomon before fleeing.
Tai starts to go after them, but he hesitates when Izzy warns
him that any damage he takes in the DigiWorld will affect his
real body. Datamon escapes with Sora and Biyomon.
|
|
THE EARTHQUAKE OF METALGREYMON (Episode 20) The kids
go after Datamon, who has kidnapped Sora and Biyomon. While
the others provide a diversion, Tai and Agumon enter his pyramid,
where he's trying to make a copy of Sora. Tai and Sora are able
to get away when Etemon and his forces burst in to attack Datamon.
Datamon tries to drop Etemon into a black pit, but he, the pyramid,
and Etemon's forces are dragged in, too. Etemon manages to escape
and prepares to attack the kids. Fortunately, Greymon successfully
digivolves to his ultimate form, Metalgreymon, and is powerful
enough to defeat Etemon. But as he does so, he and Tai are dragged
into the black pit-a dimensional rift.
|
|
HOME AWAY FROM HOME (Episode 21) Tai and Koromon are
pulled through the rift and find themselves back on Earth. Tai
goes home and visits his little sister, Kari, who seems to be
aware of the DigiWorld. He also discovers that evil Digimon
are taking advantage of the rift and creating chaos on Earth.
Koromon digivolves to Agumon in order to battle the dreaded
Ogremon and then returns to the DigiWorld to help his friends.
Although Tai wishes he could stay with Kari, he follows Agumon
back, too.
|
|
FORGET ABOUT IT! (Episode 22) Tai and Agumon return to
the DigiWorld, where they look for their friends. They find
Tokomon, who tells them that the other kids split up to look
for them. He and T.K. met up with a new Digimon, Demidevimon,
who seemed to be a friend but caused the two to have an angry
fight and go their separate ways. Tai, Agumon and Tokomon find
T.K. and Demidevimon, and Tai tries to get T.K. and Tokomon
to make up. Demidevimon senses he's losing his influence over
T.K. and tries to get the others to eat some mushrooms of forgetfulness,
but they're warned off by a mysterious female voice (Sora).
Realizing that Demidevimon isn't a true friend, Tokomon digivolves
to Patamon and drives him off.
|
|
WEREGARURUMON'S DINER (Episode 23) Matt and Gabumon find
Joe slaving away in the kitchen of Vegiemon to pay for his meal.
But a series of mishaps keeps Joe even deeper in debt. Joe doesn't
know that DemiDevimon has ordered Vegiemon to keep Joe working
there forever! Just in time, Tai and T.K. arrive and reveal
DemiDevimon as an evil Digimon. A battle ensues, with Joe sacrificing
himself to save T.K. as Gabumon digivolves first to Garurumon,
then to WereGarurumon. The evil Digimons are defeated as the
boys resume their search for Mimi and the others.
|
|
NO QUESTIONS, PLEASE (Episode 24) Searching for Gennai,
Izzy and Tentomon find themselves trapped and suddenly fall
beneath the surface into a bottomless pit. Vademon tricks Izzy
into giving up his curiosity and his worldly possessions and
brings Izzy's Tag and Crest to DemiDevimon. Tentomon feels that
he is losing Izzy and de-digivolves into Motimon, who helps
Izzy retrieve his Tag and Crest as well as his curiosity, then
Motimon digivolves to MegaKabuterimon, who defeats Vademon.
Izzy and Tentomon are thrust back to the surface where they
find Matt, T.K., Tsumonon and Patamon.
|
|
PRINCESS KARAOKE (Episode 25) Tai, Joe and their Digimon
companions track Mimi to a gigantic fortress where she's being
treated like a princess by frog-like beings called Gekomon.
The Gekomon are convinced that only Mimi's singing can awaken
their master, ShogunGekomon. Mimi strings them along, never
quite awakening the sleeping giant. When Tai and Joe call her
a spoiled brat she has them all thrown into a dungeon. Finally,
in a nightmare, Mimi sees what she's become. She begs everyone's
forgiveness and awakens ShogunGekomon, a destructive behemoth
who was better left in a coma. It takes an appearance by Metal
Greymon to put the brute back to sleep.
|
|
SORA'S CREST OF LOVE (Episode 26) The reunited children
find a very emotional Sora, who explains that DemiDevimon told
her that her Crest of Love would never glow because she never
had love in her life. When DemiDevimon sees all the children
together, he and Myotismon attack. However, since Sora realizes
her mother did love her, and was only trying to protect her,
her Crest begins to glow. Birdramon digivolves to Garudamon
and defeats Myotismon. But before the children get too comfortable,
the voice of Myotismon tells them they are about to meet their
doom!
|
|
THE GATEWAY TO HOME (Episode 27) Gennai tells the kids
about an eighth "digidestined" child, who is currently living
in Japan. Planning the capture of that child, Myotismon has
discovered a gate in the castle that will allow him to pass
into the human world. Demidevimon pulls together some troops,
as the kids manage to search the castle for the gate. When the
troops appear the Digimon digivolve and scare them away before
they are able to get through the gate. A ferocious Digimon named
Devidramon attacks and Greymon digivolves into Metal Greymon
and destroys Devidramon. Gatomon closes the gate before the
kids can get through it.
|
|
IT'S ALL IN THE CARDS (Episode 28) The gang watches helplessly
as Myotismon slips through the gate into the real world to find
the eighth child. At Gennai's house under the lake, the wise
old man gives the kids ten Digimon key cards, which, if played
correctly, will open the gate. Before they can be used, however,
the kids must learn the key cards' secret. Back at Myotismon's
castle, the kids' Digimon battle Dokugumon, the castle's spider
guardian and his parasite minions. At the last second, Izzy
cracks the code of the cards and the kids leap through the gate!
|
|
RETURN TO HIGHTON VIEW TERRACE (Episode 29) The kids
are back in the real world at camp and must stop Myotismon before
he finds the eighth child. They go to Highton View Terrace,
where they are attacked by Myotismon's army. The kids suddenly
realize that what they though was a bombing attack four years
ago, was actually the appearance of the first Digimon. Izzy
suggests that the eighth child must have been there, as well.
The kids continue to search for the child before Myostismon
can find him or her.
|
|
ALMOST HOME FREE (Episode 30) Trying to get home, the
kids take the subway with the Digimon pretending to be stuffed
animals. They sleep through their stop and end up somewhere
in the city. Luckily, they are spotted by Sora's cousin Duane,
who picks them up. Duane accidentally knocks Izzy off a bridge
during a confrontation and Motimon digivolves into Tentomon
and saves him. Demidevimon and his henchmen appear. The Digimon
digivolve and the kids are saved.
|
|
THE
EIGHTH DIGIVICE (Episode 31) Tai wonders if his sister Kari
is the eighth child. Tai's cat Miko knocks a digidevice over
the balcony and goes after it. Meanwhile a new Digimon called
Raremon begins to terrorize some people by the bay. Izzy checks
his computer and Gennai tells him that the other kids are asleep
in their houses. Izzy and Tentomon go after Raremon. Izzy's
digidevice indicates that the eighth child is nearby. He continues
to track him, while Tentomon digivolves to Kabuterimon and defeats
Raremon. Miko loses the digidevice to various animals, until
a crow ends up with it.
|
|
GATOMON COMES CALLING (Episode 32) The city is rocked
by the recent wave of monster sightings and bizarre weather
patterns. Tai and the others search the Shibaura section of
the city, hoping to find the eighth child before Myotismon does.
One of his minions, Gatomon, happens to meet Kari in the park
and is convinced that she's the eighth child. Meanwhile, Mimi
and Sora stumble into the monstrous, flame-belching SkullMeramon.
Agumon has to digivolve into Greymon and then MetalGreymon before
finally giving the monster a fiery farewell.
|
|
OUT ON THE TOWN (Episode 33) Matt is taking little brother
T.K. home on the train when T.K. and Patamon get into a fight.
Patamon takes off and Matt, T.K. and Gabumon head out looking
for him, but instead run into two of Myotismon's henchmen, Pumpkinmon
and Gotsumon. When Myotismon shows up, the two "henchmen" don't
have the hearts to attack the kids, so Myotismon blasts them
to smithereens. It turns out they've just been zapped back to
the Digital World, but the kids think they're gone for good.
T.K. gets so upset that Patamon digivolves into Angemon! Soon
Myotismon is running away, and the kids return to their search
for the eighth chosen child.
|
|
THE EIGHTH CHILD REVEALED (Episode 34) Gatomon has been
staking out Kari from a rooftop, but still can't be sure if
she's the chosen child or not. Gatomon can't remember anything
that happened before she met Myotismon. Wizardmon finds the
digivice, but doesn't want Myotismon to get his hands on it,
so he tricks Demidevimon into thinking he's still looking for
clues. Wizardmon brings the digivice to Gatomon and helps her
remember that all her life, she's been waiting for Kari. She
approaches Kari and Agumon attacks, thinking she's hurting Kari.
Gatomon protects Kari, proving that she's her Digimon and that
Kari is the eighth child. Myotismon is not convinced that Gatomon
is the chosen one, but thinks he can find the true eighth digidestined
capturing Gatomon and using her as bait.
|
|
FLOWER POWER (Episode 35) With his fogbank barrier isolating
the Odaiba district of the city, Myotismon searches for the
eighth child, using Phantomon and his minions to round up the
district's inhabitants, including Sora, Mimi, Tai and Matt.
Joe and T.K. desperately try to find a way into Odaibo. Meanwhile,
Sora blasts a self-help tape at Phantomon's spooks, neutralizing
them. But this only works temporarily and, with the arrival
of the towering Dark Tyrannomon, things look bleak until Togemon
transforms into Lillymon, and tames the beast. Sora is reunited
with her estranged mother as Lillymon takes on the evil Myotismon
herself.
|
|
CITY
UNDER SIEGE (Episode 36) Tai goes to rescue his parents
and the others being held prisoner by Myotismon. Gennai tells
Izzy how to create a Digital Barrier to protect his family from
Bakemon. While trying to get into Odaiba to help, Joe and T.K.
are attacked by MegaSeadramon. After Ikkakumon digivolves into
Zudomon and defeats the beast, they find Wizardmon in the water
with the crest of the eighth child. Phantomon follows Sora to
Matt and Kari's hideout where he summons two Digimon to destroy
the children. Feeling responsible, Kari confesses that she's
the eighth child and offers to surrender to Phantomon if he
will stop hurting her friends. The villain agrees and carries
her off.
|
|
WIZARDMON'S GIFT (Episode 37) Kari has just surrendered
to Myotismon. Wizardmon tells the others they have to return
Kari's tag and crest to defeat Myotismon. Myotismon tricks Gatomon
into revealing that Kari is the eighth child. Myotismon is about
to destroy them when the kids and Digimon arrive. Despite the
Digimon fully digivolving, they still lack the power to defeat
Myotismon. Myotismon unleashes a deathblow to Kari and Gatomon,
but Wizardmon jumps in front and dies from the blast. Tai gets
the Digivice back to Kari, which helps Gatomon Digivolve to
Angewomon. All the Digimon divert their power to Angewomon,
who strikes down Myotismon with her celestial arrow. It seems
that Myotismon is defeated, but the kids find it strange that
the fog has still not cleared.
|
|
PROPHECY (Episode 38) Gennai uncovers a cryptic prophecy
that could lead to the salvation of the Real and Digiworlds,
if Izzy and the others can decipher it. Elements of the prophecy
begin to come true: bats appear in the sky, the captured residents
of Odaiba call out Myotismon's name in a trance, Gatomon digivolves
into Angewomon, and Myotismon rises again, revealing himself
in his "true" form, a towering, energy-devouring monster. In
an attempt to bring about the last part of the prophecy, Angemon
and Angewomon shoot arrows of light at Tai and Matt, causing
Agumon and Gabumon to "warp-digivolve" into their ultimate selves:
War Greymon and MetalGarurumon.
|
|
THE BATTLE FOR EARTH (Episode 39) Agumon and Gabumon
warp-digivolve into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. Incredibly,
their combined power is still not enough to defeat VenomMyotismon.
Not until all the Digimon combine their attacks as one do their
crests begin to glow and VenomMyotismon disintegrates. The kids
look up to see the sky beginning to break apart and a huge landmass
looming towards them. Terrible things begin to happen as Izzy
deduces that the continent is in fact the Digital World! The
kids and their Digimon realize that they must return and fix
the problems there in order to save the Real World. Sadly, they
say goodbye to parents and rise bravely into the sky.
|
|
ENTER THE DARK MASTERS (Episode 40) The digidestined
and their companion Digimon find themselves hurled back to the
Digital World after defeating Myostismon. Chuumon tells them
that the four Dark Masters have relocated the Digital World
to Spiral Mountain and are planning to take it over. MetalSeadramon
challenges them. The Digimon digivolve to champions, but are
unable to defeat him, as he is an ultimate Digimon. They meet
the second Dark Master, Machinedramon and can't defeat him,
either. The third Dark Master, Puppetmon, controls them with
strings and drops them off to meet the fourth Dark Master, Piedmon.
Piximon comes to the rescue and the digidestined escape.
|
|
SEASICK
AND TIRED (Episode 41) Piximon sacrifices himself trying
to save the digidestined from Piedmon. Our heroes find themselves
back in the Digiworld, on the shores of MetalSeadramon's ocean
domain. Shellmon attacks them, but they defeat him with little
difficulty. MetalSeadramon sends his henchman, Scorpiomon. He
and his evil master nearly succeed in barbecuing the kids and
their Digimon. They're only saved when Togemon and Ikkakumon
warp-digivolve into Lillymon and Zudomon. It's a close call,
and Tai and the others doubt that the Digimons' abilities have
developed enough to defeat their enemies. As if to prove it,
Metal Seadramon reappears.
|
|
UNDER
PRESSURE (Episode 42) After Whamon and the Digidestined
escaped, MetalSeadramon and his henchmen, the Divermon, set
out to find them. Izzy discovers that War Greymon has the ability
to destroy Dramon type of Digimon, like MetalSeadramon. The
Divermon find and attack Whamon, who takes them on a deep pressure
chase towards the bottom of the sea. The Divermon can't follow
that deeply so the kids escape, temporarily. Using a makeshift
SONAR device, Izzy finds a tunnel that leads to safety. However,
Metal Seadramon intercepts them before they have a chance to
escape. Whamon burrows his way through the tunnel and winds
up safely in a bay, near land. But, Metal Seadramon has followed
them through and attacks. Agumon warp digivolves into War Greymon,
who attacks MetalSeadramon. The episode ends as "To Be Continued"...
|
|
PLAYING GAMES (Episode 43) MetalSeadramon
is about to destroy WarGreymon, but Whamon swims in front and
takes the deadly blast. WarGreymon then destroys MetalSeadramon
with his own River of Power. Tai is excited to fight the other
Dark Masters. Puppetmon devises an evil plan to destroy the
kids. He makes voodoo dolls of the kids and separates Matt and
T.K. from the others. Puppetmon corners T.K. and Kiwimon attacks
the other kids. T.K. tricks Puppetmon and smashes his voodoo
dolls. The Digimon defeat Kiwimon. Puppetmon swears revenge
on T.K. Matt strangely vanishes.
|
|
TRASH DAY (Episode 44) Tai and
the others search for Matt, who's mysteriously walked out on
the group. Matt is uncertain of his role in the group and is
frustrated that the others are getting stronger and more confident.
Cherrymon, a sinister and clever tree-like Digimon finds Matt
in this vulnerable condition and convinces him that he must
defeat Tai if he's ever to fulfill his potential. Meanwhile,
Puppetmon and his nasty henchmen, the Garbagemon, attack the
others. They have their hands full until Matt and MetalGarurumon
suddenly appear and ice the last of their attackers. Then, to
the others' amazement, MetalGarurumon turns on Tai's Digimon,
Agumon and challenges him to a fight.
|
|
THE ULTIMATE CLASH (Episode 45) Matt and Tai have a heated
argument. Matt doesn't understand why the kids were chosen to
be DigiDestined and wants to leave. MetalGarurumon and WarGreymon
start to fight. Matt and Tai begin to fist fight. Everyone starts
to get upset and several Digimon begin to get cross with each
other. Puppetmon laughs because this was his plan all along.
A friendly entity takes over Kari's body. All the kids and their
Digimon are suddenly flying into the sky. Kari (the entity)
explains that they are surrounded by computer img from the
past. The kids are taken through the past and are shown how
they were chosen to be DigiDestined. The crests represent the
best quality that each child had four years ago. If that trait
is lost, a Digimon can become corrupted. After the story, Kari
returns to her body. Matt wants to be alone and leaves. Mimi
wants to stay put and not move on with the group. Joe stays
with her. The rest go on their way.
|
|
ETEMON'S COMEBACK TOUR (Episode 46) Ogremon is being
chased by a tribe of Woodmon who are trying to steal his power.
A meteor crashes down, scaring the Woodmon away and Ogremon
is trapped under a tree. Joe and Mimi rescue him and nurse him
back to health. Ogremon is touched by their kindness and becomes
their friend. The kids explore Puppetmon's mansion. Puppetmon
finds Joe and Mimi and MetalEtemon appears. While Puppetmon
and MetalEtemon fight, Tai and the group meet the mansion guards
who despise Puppetmon. One of the guards agrees to lead a cannon
attack against Puppetmon. Ogremon tells Joe and Mimi that he
wants to destroy Leomon. MetalEtemon finds the kids hiding in
a tree and chases them through the jungle. A creature that resembles
Leomon appears during the chase.
|
|

Digimon try to destroy Piedmon, but he begins turning them all
into key chains, except Kari and T.K. T.K. calls on Angemon,
who digivolves into MagnaAngemon and saves the two kids. MagnaAngemon
turns the key chain kids back to normal. Piedmon attacks again
with his army of Vilemon, but Mimi arrives with her army of
Digimon, who are able to defeat the evil forces. Gennai sends
an e-mail explaining that the real enemy is the force that created
the Dark Masters. Right then, the ground starts to quake and
the Spiral Mountain begins to glow.

NOW APOCALYMON ( Episode 53 ) Spiral Mountain begins
to crumble and the kids are suspended in darkness. Gennai explains
that the evil that created the Dark Masters came from the Wall
of Fire. He tells an ancient story about a strange being who
walked across the Wall of Fire and threatened the collapse of
the Digital World. There were original DigiDestined children
who defeated the evil the first time. The kids were summoned
because a new evil stepped out from behind the fire. There's
a prophecy that this evil will plunge the world into darkness,
which is where the kids are currently floating. The transmission
cuts out before Gennai can reveal the identity of the evil force.
The villain soon appears in the form of Apocalymon, who has
the attacks of all the evil Digimon the kids defeated in the
past. He crushes their crests and disables the Digimon's ability
to digivolve. He sends the kids and their Digimon to the world
of data. The kids' faith in themselves restores the power of
their crests. They return to their original forms and are ready
to battle Apocalymon.

THE FATE OF TWO WORLDS ( Episode 54 ) Just as Apocalymon
launches his Total Annihilation attack, the children's power
within causes their digivices to contain the blast. Apocalymon
is defeated. Gennai arrives and explains that the DigiWorld
will start over, beginning with File Island. The kids arrive
on File Island and decide to stay until summer vacation is over
because time is slower in the Digital World. Gennai explains
that with the defeat of Apolcalymon, the two worlds now exist
at the same rate of time. The portal to transport them back
to the real world will soon close. Each DigiDestined and his
Digimon say their goodbyes. T.K. and Kari somehow know they
will meet again soon. Tai says he will never forget the Digimon
and knows that someday they will be reunited.
