Nintendo's US boss Reggie Fils-Aime has been critical of Apple's iPad, arguing that the games available for the new gadget are lightweight.
iPad launched in the US over the weekend but Fils-Aime doesn't believe it will offer serious competition as a gaming platform. "[Apple] is not having an impact on Nintendo when you look at our business, our volume, our hardware, our software," he told Kotaku.
Fils-Aime also criticised the games available on the iPad, saying "I've seen data that suggests that while consumers are constantly downloading Apps, they play with them for a few times and then they are moving on to the next thing.
"If our games represent a range between snacks of entertainment and full meals depending on the type of game, (Apple's) aren't even a mouthful, in terms of the gaming experience you get."
Of course it won't. I don't recall anyone saying it would. So get your head out of your ass Reggie and stop feeling the need to proudly announce how things aren't threats to your s**tty consoles.

Well, that certainly explains why the only DSiWare titles worth crap are iPhone ports.
Fact is, if some corporate sockpuppet like Reggie takes the time to disparage a rival product, whether it is by Sony, Microsoft or Apple, it's because they are already feeling an impact.
As far as I've seen, apple store apps are tiny things, and won't ever be comparable to a real games machine. Still, 99c or whatever they are per game would make me buy a crapload regardless of length.
