Digimon....what a rip off of Pokemon...my first impressions of the name! But as i watched the first few episodes on CITV i thought hey this aint half bad and i ditched Poke there and then! It was then the idea of getting info from the show together came to me. Thus the planning for the site began. But due to computer limitations i had to hold off the site and join a Yahoo Club *boy have thins changed* the club was Kurumons Digimon Tamers but i knew about 02 and Tamers by then since CITV sucked and were only showing 1st Season Stuff.

The first part of the site was made on 01 June 01 and started out as a Digimon Adoption agency called Primary Village this was held in the club *to whom i owe gatomonsmeow a great thanks and still want to diss Dausike Kamiya to hades!*. Soon this adoption agency grew and i thought hey why not start the site now. So bam on the Mid June 01 i did but i added digimon information to the site and named her Digital Dream Team. Digital Dream Team added a Vamdemon shrine on 2nd August 01 *as i thought that the vampire demon was delicious *he still is*. I was inspired to do this by Lady Vandemon. I had many problems with Tripod site builder to start with and couldn't update for over a month but when i could i added more and more.

On the 14 December 01 i added my own site club called called Digital Starlight *when clubs changed to groups it wiped the entire club out and i had to start again*. It was then that i decided to change Digital Dream Team to Digital Starlight. The name has stuck since. When i got my first site email i was thrilled and when i reached my first hit gif i was extatic ;)

I started to have Bandwith problems and had to make 3 more accounts so i could have all my info up. The Vamde Shrine moved and got a new name Immortal Darkness..Due to the stress of real life i had to close the adoption agency and just work on the site. In July 02 Digital Starlight went HTML of which was a great achivement and i could finally get rid of that rotten Tripod colouring! *that certain page that i said was still there is now gone.*

I moved all the sections to 50megs however Bandwith caught up again :( so the S1-Tamers stuff had to be moved back to tripod and eventually i've made my tripod account a back up so that Digital Starlight can still be around even if the 50megs account goes down *which it did more times than i care to remember*. I started to update the encyclopedia Megchan did for so long. All i can do is get info from the tranlators from WTW and place it in the format Megchan designed. But within time it got its long awaited update. But with my personal life getting more and more in the way i've had to stop doing this. Although again as of late i did do the Option card update.

Since Digimon TV series ended in the USA + Japan *we UK people haven't even had Frontier!* information had gone down. With no Chronicle Manga in sight it was getting hard to find stuff to update on. But on the bright side we gote past the 200,000 mark :). Since getting my V-Tamer books i became the first site to have all the reviews without knowing a single word *well not able to read the stuff* of Japanese. Chronicle info did start to filter through but didn't account to much at that point so i took a mini break in Jan 04.

At the end of March 04 i added a Digital Starlight Forum hosted by Invision and tired of 50megs messing around i decided to move to hostultra and re-united Digital Starlight again under one roof. I deleted the stuff on Tripod + 50megs and moved over ^^. Although Hostultra gives almost unlimited bandwith + hosting it was pop up city but that was the price to pay for having a site that got popular.

The rumours for Season 5 were now flying around like crazy but it was well known as Toei had said there wouldn't be another season these were fakes made up by stupid people who wanted attention. Towards mid 04 a new movie was announced...X-Evolution was in it's working stages and was partially based of Chronicle (and in my view D-Cyber). I found out about another Manga called D-Cyber and wrote some reviews for that and put em up on the site

I just about managed to drag myself towards the end of 04 with the thought of closing DS being on my mind on more than one occasion as i was fed up of being hassled. (AOH will vouch for that!). Durning this low time we did reach over 300,000 hits eventually XD. With the forum being rather quiet again i was tempted into merging with RyuX forum which i did. I was then offered hosting by Jedi Amara of Patamon's World. However due to a server problem this fell through so Jkaizer offered me hosting on his server. After stressing of an FTP that wouldn't ruddy work we managed to sort out and upgrade with i paid for. Also before this Digital Starlight started to be changed...to PHP.

But just before this X-Evolution finally arrived to Japan. It was interesting to say the least....Jkaizer did the review for me before sending me a VCD of it ^^. On the 2nd of Feb 05 Digital Starlight PHP hit the new server. In which i thank AOH + Jkaizer for the work they did on it (and i thank myself for actually understand it XD) With V-Tamer Translations now being paid for by me this is another step towards trying to give the fans what they've been wanting.

I have decide to reopen the DS Forum more recently to bring Starlight 'back home' so to speak and added a trading card area so you can trade with other people to try and get the few cards you need to finish your Card sets off.

I just hope DS can grow even more and i'm certain it will.
