An Exploration of Led Zeppelin's Unreleased Material |
Led Zeppelin, the world's greatest Rock Band, has a CD catalogue that leaves much to be desired. Serious fans want to hear every recording of Jimmy Page ever picking up the guitar. They want quality video's of quality Zep concerts. They want a Zeppelin Anthology. It is rumored that Jimmy Page would like to release more Zeppelin material and erase the image of The Song Remains the Same from our mind, yet cannot get support from the surviving members of the band. It is also rumored that Robert Plant continues to get uglier and creepier. Until a super-anthology is released we are forced to delve into the seamy, greasy, over-priced world of bootlegs to satisfy our Zep desires. Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to explore all that is unreleased and report back about the bootlegs that are beyond essential. Any help that you can give me on my journey, good info or some free boots, is very welcome. Email me here. (Please no trade requests)
Unreleased Studio Material
The first chapter in the Zeppelin Bootleg Saga begins with an exploration of their unreleased studio material. This search wasnt too difficult. The definitive bootleg for Zep Studio Outtakes is Antrabata Records, "Led Zeppelin: Studio Sessions". It is an 11 LP set with amazing recordings that defy belief.
