LTT launch 4Mbps symmetric service

Posted: Monday 24th May 2004 by Sam
LTT Broadband, the wireless provider covering areas in West Kent and East Sussex, have now launched their new 4Mbps symmetric broadband product. The pricing for the service, at £280 per month, is obviously targetted at business users. The contention ration for the service is not yet known, however, looking at other products form LTT, it's likely to be 20:1. (Update at 10pm: A contention ratio of 20:1 has been confirmed).

In addition to this, LTT have also launched a "Bandwidth-on-Demand" service, that will allow customers to change the speed of their service dynamically, for £5 a go. Other providers (such as NTL and BT) have been trialling similar services, although they have yet to be launched.
