Britney Spears slams ex's sensational abuse claims

Representatives for Britney Spears and her agent boyfriend, Jason Trawick, have slammed allegations the singer has become a victim of domestic abuse following sensational accusations from her ex-husband Jason Alexander.

The superstar has found herself back in the headlines this week after Star magazine published Alexander's account of the alleged beatings he claims she has suffered at the hands of Trawick.

Spears has been dating her new beau since early 2009, and he quit his job as her representative over the summer to concentrate on their romance.

But Alexander, who she was famously married to for just 55 hours in 2004, claims Spears has reached out to him in a desperate plea for help after reportedly suffering a black eye during a fight with Trawick in October.

He tells Star, "Britney is in an abusive relationship! Britney doesn't know what to do or whom to confide in. I'm really concerned for her. ..."

Alexander alleges Spears and Trawick's relationship hit rock bottom in October, when she reportedly confronted him about cheating on her with another woman.

He says, "She accused Jason of having sex with this girl, and it sent him into a rage. She said it was like a switch flipped. He went crazy and started hitting her. ...

"Britney called me and told me that he hit her so hard it gave her a black eye. She said she couldn't even leave the house for a week because of the bruising."

He has even pinpointed paparazzi snaps of Spears on October 19, sporting what appears to be slight bruising around her eye, as evidence of his claims.

Star magazine editors insist Alexander passed a polygraph test to prove he was telling the truth, but reps for both Spears and Trawick have blasted the tabloid report.

Britney Spears' divorced parents back together

Britney Spears' parents are a couple again eight years after they divorced, according to reports.

Lynne and Jamie Spears ended their marriage in 2002 after 30 years together.

At the time, their superstar daughter insisted the breakdown of her parents' relationship was inevitable - and was convinced the split was for the best.

She said, "It's the best thing that's ever happened to my family. My mom and dad, bottom line, do not get along. When I was a baby, they argued."

However, the Spearses have fallen in love again - and they have been dating since last year, according to People.com.

A source tells the website, "They are back together and are doing well and happy. (They're) not remarried but (they are) back together. Lynne is a dear, sweet person. She deserves happiness. As her friend, my wish for her would be a happy ending."

The pair's famous daughters have also had their share of heartache - the "Toxic" hitmaker divorced husband Kevin Federline in 2007, while her younger TV star sister Jamie Lynne recently split from on/off lover Casey Aldridge - the father of her child.

Bid to keep Britney Spears harassment case private

Britney Spears' conservators have asked a judge to move a bodyguard's sexual harassment lawsuit out of a public court to prevent the release of private information about the singer.

Fernando Flores is suing the pop star over claims she repeatedly exposed herself and made sexual advances towards him while he worked as her personal bodyguard.

Flores wants the case to be heard in civil court but representatives for the pop superstar fear he will use the public forum to divulge her secrets -- and extort a settlement, reports TMZ.com.

They have requested the matter is moved into a probate court where his accusations would be shielded from the spotlight.

According to legal documents filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Spears' conservators believe "there is a real possibility that Ms. Spears will be exposed to danger by the release of confidential and personal information".

A hearing on the matter will be held later this month.

Ex-bodyguard defends Britney Spears

A former bodyguard for Britney Spears has defended the singer's reputation after she was accused of sexual harassment by an ex-employee.

Fernando Flores accused the "Toxic" hitmaker of exposing herself and making sexual advances towards him while he worked for her, in a shocking new lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Flores also brought Spears' parenting skills into question after claiming he once witnessed the star "savagely hit" her son Sean Preston with a belt. The accusations prompted an investigation by Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services earlier this year, with officials rejecting the claims in July.

Last weel, a representative for the superstar dismissed the "unfortunate" case as a way for Flores to "make a name for himself."

And another former Spears staffer, bodyguard Mark Chinapen, who worked for the pop star between 2007 and 2008, has also slammed the allegations.

He tells E! Online, "In our time with Britney, we've never seen anything in a negative sense.

"If there was an issue, we would have said something to her or authorities when it came to the kids. But we never saw anything negative. It (work) was very normal. Starbucks runs, going for lunch, driving, shopping, buying clothes, and going out to events. That's it.

"Britney is one of those people that likes to conduct her own business and go around and do her thing around town. She's not looking for someone to be in her face 24/7, just someone to assist when they're needed."

Britney Spears' rep dismisses 'unfortunate' harassment suit

Britney Spears' publicist has responded to a sexual harassment case filed by the star's former bodyguard, dismissing the suit as a way for the former aide to "make a name for himself."

In a shocking new lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Fernando Flores accused the "Toxic" hit maker of exposing herself and making sexual advances towards him while he worked for her.

Flores had previously claimed that Spears was a terrible parent to her two sons, alleging he once witnessed the star "savagely hit" her son Sean Preston with a belt.

An investigation was launched after the bodyguard reported her to the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services earlier this year, but officials rejected the claims in July.

Now a rep for the superstar has taken to Spears' website to dismiss the latest lawsuit as nothing more than a publicity ploy by a disgruntled former employee.

On the site, a statement reads, "This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself.

"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without any further action. Ms. Spears and her attorneys have every expectation that this matter will be dismissed by the courts."

Britney Spears loses Twitter crown to Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has left pop rival Britney Spears in her wake - she's overtaken the "Toxic" hitmaker as the most followed celebrity on Twitter.

Spears was crowned queen of the microblogging site earlier this year when she beat once-reigning Ashton Kutcher, who was the first star to make it to the one million followers mark.

It was predicted earlier this week that Gaga would be the champion by the weekend - and she has now amassed a staggering 6.7 million online devotees. The number outstrips Spears by 9,000.

And as a thank you to her fans, the "Poker Face" sensation recorded a bizarre video in which she is dressed as a wand-waving fairy and brands herself the 'Queen of Twitter.'

In the footage (as seen in the video below), she says, "This is Lady Gaga, queen of Twitter. Wanted to thank all of my beautiful little monsters for following me. Thank you for beginning my reign as Twitter queen. May you always have soft cuticles while tweeting. May you never have carpal tunnel. I vow to always tweet and tweet again."

Britney Spears cleared over 'unfit mother' claims

Child authorities in Los Angeles have cleared Britney Spears over allegations the pop star is unfit to care for her two young sons, according to U.K. reports.

Spears' ex-bodyguard Fernando Flores - a former cop - recently revealed he had reported Spears to the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services over fears she was too unstable to look after her boys - Sean Preston, four, and Jayden James, three.

The allegations caused Los Angeles social workers to launch an investigation into the "Toxic" hitmaker.

But they have now ruled in favor of the star, insisting there was "absolutely no truth" to the claims, reports Britain's The Sun.

A family source tells the publication, "Flores is an opportunist."

The bodyguard claimed he quit after Spears strutted around naked in front of him, and is said to be considering launching a sexual harassment suit against his former employer.

Britney Spears facing probe over former bodyguard's allegations

Britney Spears is reportedly facing a probe after her former bodyguard alleged the singer is too unstable to care for her two young sons.

Former police officer Fernando Flores reportedly quit working for the performer after she repeatedly called him into her bedroom and strutted naked in front of him.

Flores is said to be considering a sexual harassment lawsuit against Spears, according to a report by Britain's The Sun earlier this month.

Now the publication reports Flores claims Spears is an unfit mother and that he once reported her to Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services over her parenting of the boys -- Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.

A source tells the publication, "Britney doesn't mean to be a bad mom. But Flores feels she has so many issues she can't be trusted around her boys."

Child protection officials are allegedly planning to question Spears, who strongly denies any wrongdoing, according to the newspaper.
