Ozzy Osbourne 'sick' of Lady Gaga exposure

Ozzy Osbourne has urged pop sensation Lady Gaga to take a break because he's "getting a bit sick" of the superstar.

The Prince of Darkness has supported Lady Gaga throughout her meteoric rise to fame, and even suggested the odd couple should head into the studio together earlier this year.

But Osbourne admits he has grown tired of seeing Gaga whenever he turns on the TV or opens a magazine, and insists she needs to take time out, so her fans don't get bored with her.

He tells UsMagazine, "I do think Lady Gaga should take a break for a little while. She's getting to be too much. ... She's just too overexposed.

"She could be the next Madonna if she played her cards right. I like her, but I'm getting a bit sick of her. When I turn on the TV, I see her wearing another lampshade or whatever. She needs to take a break, I think, for an hour or so."

Lady Gaga fan questioned by cops over 'backstage break-in'

Lady Gaga was left distressed after a fan used fake backstage passes to sneak through strict security in a bid to meet the superstar at London's 02 Arena last week, according to U.K. reports.

The singer put on two sold-out shows at the huge venue in the U.K. capital, but was left shocked before Thursday's concert when she was informed a devotee had made her way backstage.

The woman had forged passes which helped her evade the star's security team -- and she was only caught out by Gaga's management as she made her way to the singer's dressing room, according to Britain's Daily Mirror.

Police were called and the woman was reportedly released after questioning.

A source tells the newspaper, "This was a serious breach of security and the woman was heading in the direction of the stage and, more worryingly, Gaga's dressing room.

"This woman had gone to great lengths to produce all the fake documentation so she could move at ease in the holding area backstage.

"Gaga was understandably shaken by the incident but was a consummate professional and continued as per normal, putting on a dazzling show."

Lady Gaga rockets up wealthy women rich list

Lady Gaga is proving she's a force to be reckoned with in more ways than just music - she's quickly becoming one of the richest female stars in the world.

The singer has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame since hitting the charts in 2008, and she is now rocketing up the rich list thanks to her best-selling debut album "The Fame" and sell-out Monster Ball tour.

Gaga is fourth in Forbes magazine's 2010 list of the richest women in Hollywood, raking in $64 million over the last 12 months.

She is only beaten by rich list regulars Oprah Winfrey -- who outstrips all rivals with earnings of $324 million -- Beyonce and Britney Spears, who have pulled in $89 million and $65 million respectively in 2010.

Following Gaga in fifth place is her idol Madonna, who has made an impressive $59.9 million, while Sandra Bullock has her Oscar win to thank for helping her earn $59.2 million.

TV talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift and Judge Judy round out the top 10 wealthy women in Hollywood.

Lady Gaga scraps Paris shows over strikes

Lady Gaga has been forced to scrap her upcoming gigs in Paris over the weekend due to strikes which have crippled the French capital.

Over one million citizens have taken to the streets in protest of President Nicolas Sarkozy's plans to raise the nation's retirement age from 60 to 62, and the demonstrations have led to severe public transport delays and petrol shortages.

The disruption has now caused the singer to postpone her Monster Ball shows in France until December.

A statement posted on her website reads, "Unfortunately, as there is no certainty that the trucks can make it to the Bercy (area in Paris) for this weekend's shows, the Lady Gaga performances are now postponed. Lady Gaga apologizes to her fans for any inconvenience."

The shows have been rescheduled for December 19 and 20.

Lady Gaga proves voice critics wrong after microphone mess-up

Lady Gaga confirmed she doesn't lip-sync when her microphone cut out during a concert in Norway over the weekend.

The "Poker Face" singer has been touring the world for the past year, performing pitch-perfect shows night after night.

The success of the trek has prompted some cynical critics to publicly assume she isn't singing live during all her performances.

She recently hit back at the claims, saying, "I will sing live every night. I will never lip-sync, not when you buy a ticket to my show."

And the star proved her worth onstage in Oslo at the weekend, when a technical fault cut off her voice for several seconds during a performance of her hit "Alejandro."

During a high-octane dance routine, the singer shouted to her fans, "I told you I don't lip sync; my f**king mic just went out."

Elton John goes Gaga over pop's first lady

Elton John can't wait to work with Lady Gaga again because he considers the colorful pop star his "b**tard daughter."

The two stars teamed up for a theatrical performance at the Grammy Awards earlier this year and Elton admits he's "smitten" with the "Paparazzi" singer.

He says, "She and I come from exactly the same place... I love her and I love her ability to write."

And the Brit tells Entertainment Weekly magazine his pal Lady Gaga is about to become an even bigger star when her new album is released next year.

He adds, "It's f**king amazing. 'Born This Way,' which is the title song, will completely get rid of Gloria Gaynor's 'I Will Survive.' This is the new 'I Will Survive'... This is the new gay anthem."

Lady Gaga was 'painfully shy' before pop stardom

Outlandish singer Lady Gaga overcame crippling shyness to launch her career as a world famous pop star, according to her first manager.

Bob Leone says he first met the "Just Dance" hitmaker at an open mic night when she was 13 or 14 years old and went by her given name, Stefani Germanotta.

He worked with Gaga for several years and managed her for six months in 2006, overseeing her transformation.

He tells People.com, "It was a very important six months because going into it, she was Stefani, and she was still writing pop music. By the end of that six-month period, she was officially Lady Gaga."

But Leon admits the singer, now famous for her over-the-top ensembles and controversial pop lyrics, started as a timid teen who had to work up the nerve to perform.

He explains, "She was painfully shy - very different from who she is now. She came to the open mics with her mother twice before she built up the courage to go on stage."

Rihanna's fashion texts

Rihanna ensures she's never left red-faced on the red carpet by texting her pop star pals Katy Perry and Lady Gaga to find out if their outfits will clash.

The singers are known for their wild wardrobes but Rihanna is terrified they will one day be photographed in identical dresses, and she admits it takes a lot of planning to prevent a fashion faux pas.

Rihanna explains, "My worst nightmare would be a clash on the red carpet, so we all text each other before to make sure. We're all kind of fearless with fashion. So Katy and I speak all the time about what we're going to wear. And Gaga.

"One time we were going to the Met Ball, and Katy phoned me to check. We were like, 'Oh my god.' We were both going in this dress by Dolce and Gabbana with Marilyn Monroe's face all over it. She was like, 'You can't. I've had my nails done in mink and it matches the dress. I thought, seeing as she'd gone to all that effort, I'd let her wear it."

Lady Gaga teams up with Armani

Lady Gaga has signed a lucrative deal with fashion powerhouse Georgio Armani to create her outlandish costumes.

The hit maker has become as well known for her quirky style sense as her music since she shot to fame, and she has appeared in public in numerous bizarre creations, including a dress made from Muppets and a lobster hat.

She has donned a string of specially designed Armani outfits, including the celestial dress she wore to the 2010 Grammy Awards and the bondage-style costumes in her recent Alejandro video.

Now the singer has made the partnership official by signing a deal with the fashion house to continue their work together.

Roberta Armani, the niece of fashion legend Giorgio and manager of the firm's VIP relations, tells the Wall Street Journal, "A huge company like Giorgio Armani has the duty to always be alert to trends and what appeals to young people. It helped to see how the world is through Lady Gaga, the way she uses Facebook and Twitter.

"It wouldn't be possible to give Gaga a look from the collection because she wears pieces of art. It's theatrical. Gaga is so avant-garde and he is so timeless that they meet."

Lady Gaga and Madonna advise Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert has recruited some superstars to help steer him through his music career - both Lady Gaga and Madonna have been offering the rocker guidance.

The former "American Idol" contestant turned to the singers for tips as his singing career began to take off, and Lambert reveals the "Poker Face" hitmaker gave him "a good pep talk" and warned him he still has a lot of hard work to do.

He tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph, "(Gaga) told me about the previous three years. She worked really, really hard before she made it. She told me there's no glamor, you don't get a lot of sleep, you don't get a lot of stability in your social life - you just have to count on yourself and go for it. It was a good pep talk. And she was right."

And Lambert is also thankful to Madonna for helping him deal with online critics. He adds, "She told me that you can't get wrapped up in all the media and message boards, that everyone's going to have an opinion. People will criticize you especially when you're doing it well.

"You can't do much better than getting career advice from Madonna. She's the queen, right?

"I've learned that there are plenty of challenges, but if you work hard enough you can arrive. You find a spot for yourself and get to communicate with your art and hopefully inspire people. That's what I'm working towards."
