Lost Planet 2 gets Dead Rising's Frank West

Lost Planet 2's cast has been bolstered by the addition of Dead Rising's Frank West and a character from Monster Hunter.

The Monster Hunter character will be exclusive to the PlayStation3 version, in the same way Marcus and Dom from Gears of War will be exclusive to the 360 version.

Frank West isn't discriminating though and will appear in all versions of Lost Planet 2, just as Resident Evil's Wesker will.

We're not too sure what to make of these crossover characters. Marcus and Dom just about managed to defy the odds and fit in but now it's starting to get a little ridiculous. Next week: Phoenix Wright and Ryu in Lost Planet 2 confirmed!

We're kidding, by the way. We hope.

Its only making the multiplayer more interesting, not like the pop up in the single player mode and are worked in to the story. Well i hope not. Though could be cool.
