Star Trek Online, the new space-borne MMO from Cryptic Studios, has finally entered its open beta phase and we've teamed up with publishers Namco Bandai to offer you one of 1500 beta keys, so you can explore the very outer limits of the Star Trek universe.
Set in the year 2409, Star Trek Online allows you to experience brave new worlds and bold new adventures set in the Star Trek universe, commanding huge starships and highly skilled away teams as the Federation pushes out into the wider galaxy and encounters new life and new civilizations.
Or if you prefer the life of blood and honour, why not take on the role of a Klingon warrior? Command a Bird of Prey and you seek glory through combat and of course barrel-loads of Blood wine!

Plenty of places are giving away keys with the game (which is really brilliant, I might add), the space combat is phenomenal - like FASA's Star Fleet Battles game of the '80s.
