It is the Faculty of Humanities that tries diverse approaches to the ultimate question of "What are human beings?" For that purpose the Faculty has created "parallel specialized subjects" that make it possible to lower inter-departmental barriers and freely take specialized subjects in other Departments. By gaining the capability for interdisciplinary learning, students develop the ability to advantageously use culture, which is the spiritual product of humanity, and to carry on research from diverse perspectives.
