Contemporary Dance from Iceland
Iceland Dance Company at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts. Minkkien: Self Portraits from Finland
"Arno Rafael Minkkinen: Self-Portraits from Four Decades" will be on view at Barry Friedman Ltd. gallery from Nov. 15 to Dec. 22. The exhibition is a survey of the Finnish American photographer’s striking images from 1971 to a broad selection of new works never seen before. The gallery's new location is 515 West 26th St., Chelsea.
Russia in Miami
RUSSIA MIAMI 2007, an exhibition of contemporary Russian art and culture, will be on view in the Collins Building, 39 NE 39th Street, in the Miami Design District, from Dec. 3-10, 2007. The exhibition is curated by Julie Sylvester, Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the State Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, organized by RIGroup, in cooperation with HUGO BOSS, and supported by DACRA Development. The exhibition will be open daily from 12 noon-9 pm.
