ISDN users in Milton Keynes given hope

Posted: Monday 17th May 2004 by Sam
Following the news that BT will be excluding those with ISDN and Home Highway from the Milton Keynes trial, the Milton Keynes Broadband Action Group has released the results of another Q&A; session with BT. According to Nick Hubbard, co-ordinator of the group, 47 ISDN users have expressed their unhappiness over the ISDN situation so far.

In response to one question BT finished by saing "we are currently looking at the possibility of including ISDN and HomeHighway customers should non-ISDN customer take up be less than required."

The trial is due to involve 1,000 end users, so hopefully there should be room for some ISDN conversions. Admittedly the cost of removing the ISDN kit (and having to re-install it should ADSL not work satisfactorily!) will put BT off somewhat, but it is unfair to leave these customers out.
