IC4IC is a privately-held fabless communications semiconductor company. The company was founded in January 2001 by a team of experienced ASIC professionals, with the objective of developing cutting-edge VLSI solutions for the next generation Wireless Access Network market.
IC4IC is focused on becoming a leading supplier of high-performance VLSI solutions facilitating smooth migration to next generation wireless access networks. We are currently designing high-performance silicon semiconductor integrated circuit solutions for ATM and IP infrastructure equipment vendors serving the emerging 3G wireless markets.
The company's X-cess product line is a family of System-on-a-Chip ICs, which facilitate migration of wireless access networks from voice to voice and wireless data (TDM/ATM to IP). Our R&D; team consists of highly experienced ASIC engineers with vast design experience, and a remarkable track record of having completed the design of over 80 communication chips, with 100% first time success.
Since February 2001, IC4IC has been an active participant in the 3GPP standardization body (RAN3 Working Group), and has been making substantial contributions, specifically in the area of IP Transport in the UTRAN.
IC4IC is backed by leading Venture Capital firms and by TranSwitch Corporation (NASDAQ: TXCC), a leading US-based VLSI communications supplier.

IC4IC has signed a strategic OEM agreement with TranSwitch Corporation. The TranSwitch marketing, sales and support organization serves as the main distribution channel for products developed by IC4IC on a worldwide basis.
