Never mind what appears to be the drastic decline of quarterback Troy Aikman. Never mind their run defense, which has allowed 200 rushing yards in three of their first six games. Never mind the fact that they haven't won consecutive games in more than a year. Head coach Dave Campo knows all of that, yet he believes the Cowboys will make the playoffs this year. "If we had more ball security, we've won three out of four. Now we can move forward. We just have to tweak and just keep moving and get better and hold onto the football." Campo said Tuesday.

Boo birds taking over in Dallas
Sunday's matchup pits two NFL teams that have had basically no home field advantage this season. Teams visiting Arizona have left saying that it felt like a home game for them. And in Dallas, the Cowboys have been destroyed in their two home games by the combined score of 82-38. In both games, fans were not shy about booing America's Team. Head coach Dave Campo is pleading with fans to give his team a chance. "I'm just saying that I know from my 30 years in the business, the more support and positiveness that a team has around it, the better chance it has of getting it done," he told the Dallas Morning News. "I would like to think that we're going to have a smarter (fan) group out there Sunday that understands that."
Jones: No QB controversy

Aikman |
Troy Aikman will be the Cowboys' starting quarterback next week despite throwing a team-record five interceptions in Sunday's loss to the Giants, team owner Jerry Jones said after the game. "As I see it right now, I don't think there will be a change," Jones said in the locker room after the Cowboys fell to 2-4 with the 19-14 loss. "As far as I am concerned, he is our starter
without even hesitation. Don't anybody misinterpret." Meanwhile, ESPN.com's Joe Theismann belives that for the Cowboys to have a chance to win, they need Randall Cunningham's versatility.
