Free Wireless Service Extended

29 May 2007

The Library's free wireless service has been extended. It is now available in the Information Centre, the La Trobe Reading Room and the Heritage Collections Reading Room (for those working with heritage materials).

The Library's other free WiFi hotspots are Experimedia, the Redmond Barry Reading Room and Journals & Magazines. Look out for the wireless networking signs in these rooms.

To access the service you need to be a registered Victorian Library user or an RMIT student. Your laptop or PDA should be wireless enabled, have a standard wireless LAN card with 802.11b or 802.11g capabilities and have a web browser installed.
