Premier launches 150th Anniversary Program

The Victorian Premier, the Hon. Steve Bracks MP, formally launched the State Library's 150th Anniversary Program on Tuesday 26 February 2004.
The occasion allowed for a launch within a launch: Treasures of the State Library of Victoria (Focus Publishing) was published to celebrate the Library's 150th anniversary.
And by a miracle of genetic science and an impressive display of the embalmer's art, the Premier was joined at the launch by Sir Redmond Barry, colonial visionary and co-founder of the Library.
