2006-07 Annual Report Available Online

23 November 2007

The Library's 2006-07 Annual Report is now available online as a series of downloadable PDFs. A short video introduction by CEO and State Librarian Anne-Marie Schwirtlich (with a transcript for those unable to access video) can also be seen.

The Annual Report highlights the Library's key activities and achievements from July 2006 to June 2007, the first year of implementation of its significant slv21 program, which is utilising innovation, technology and collaboration to meet the future information needs of Victorians.

The report details the results of a highly successful year, during which the Library further extended and improved services to Victorians. Increases in activities such as the digitisation of collection items and web publishing have provided Victorians with even greater access to the Library's rich resources online.

In addition, improvements to onsite services and a vibrant program of exhibitions, events and educational activities have resulted in more than a million visitors to the Library's landmark heritage building on Swanston Street.

Find out more about the Library's 2006-07 achievements by watching the introductory video and accessing the 2006-07 Annual Report PDFs.
