Library Symposium to be Podcast

23 February 2006

The Library has announced that it will be podcasting the speeches made at its Library of the 21st Century Symposium, held today. The podcasts will make the Symposium, an invitation-only event, accessible to the wider community.

The Symposium has been organised to generate discussion and provide a range of perspectives on the challenges facing libraries in the rapidly changing digital age. The event features a range of key Australian and international decision-makers, commentators and industry leaders - from within and outside the library sector. Find out more about the Symposium.

To receive the Symposium podcast, you must be set up for podcasts with feed reader software (downloadable free from the web). You must also subscribe to the Library's RSS Feed category 'Library of the 21st Century Podcast'. To find out how to get a feed reader and to subscribe to this podcast - or any other Library RSS Feed - visit the Library's RSS Feeds page.

For those who prefer not to receive podcasts, downloadable audio files will be available from the Symposium information pages in the next few weeks.
