New Kelly Gang Artefacts

18 November 2009

Hear about new archaeological finds from the site of the Kelly Gang's last stand at Glenrowan at a special free viewing on Tuesday 24 November.

Elizabeth Marsden, collections manager at the Police Museum, and archaeologist Adam Ford will discuss the still evolving legend of the Kelly Gang with historians Clare Wright, Ian Jones and Alex McDermott.

Following the discussion, you will be able to view the artefacts as part of a tour of the Library's permanent exhibition The changing face of Victoria. The exhibition also includes Ned's armour and the Jerilderie Letter, dictated by Ned Kelly in defence of his crimes.
