Open House 2006 - Go to Town!

Over the weekend of 2-3 September, eight of Melbourne’s most popular arts attractions, including the State Library, are opening their doors to the community with a feast of (mostly) free events.
Venture beyond the Library's grand façade to discover free exhibitions and activities, including family history workshops and fun events for children.
The other participating organisations in this cultural program are the Arts Centre, NGV International, Melbourne Museum, Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Ian Potter Centre (NGV Australia), Immigration Museum and Scienceworks.
