Melbourne Cup Day Services

Tuesday 6 November is the Melbourne Cup Day public holiday. On this day the Library will be open from 10am to 6pm. Our exhibition galleries will close at 5pm.
The following services will be available:
- inquiry service at Information Desks
- user registration
- printing and copying
- same day delivery of books and journals stored onsite.
If you want to use items from Heritage Collections on Cup Day please order:
- rare books, manuscripts, maps and pictures stored onsite by 3pm on Monday 5 November
- manuscripts stored offsite by 3pm Monday 5 November
- journals stored offsite by 5.30pm on Monday 5 November
- newspapers stored offsite by 5.30pm Friday 2 November.
