Photo Competition Winners Announced

The winners of the Library's Wish You Were Here! photo competition were announced today. The judges were impressed with the range and quality of the entries, which captured Victorians' vacations over the years. The competition ran in association with the Victorians on Vacation exhibition, which ended on 2 March.

The first prize winner in the Kids category was Geena, for two great photos - Bushfires Meet the Beach and Siblings and Sunset. The Adults category winner was crazy girl, for the Great Ocean Road vs Lee family. These winners will receive a digital camera worth approximately AUD$400 RRP.

Second prize in the Kids category went to Krispy, for Still. In the Adults category the second prize winner was Sleepy, for Christmas with cousins - under the Walnut tree. They will receive a framed print of their winning photograph.

A number of photos in each category were also highly commended by the judges.
