Library's 2006 Calendar Sale

The Library's Cowen Gallery 2006 Calendar is now on sale for just $10.00, discounted from the original retail price of $19.95. It can be purchased in person from the Library's foyer reception desk, or the Library's Online Shop.
This beautiful 12-page calendar features details from 12 works in the Library’s Pictures Collection, now on permanent display in the Cowen Gallery. The works depict Victoria’s landscape, early Melbourne scenes, and significant events and figures in the European exploration and settlement of Victoria.
Artists include Eugene von Guerard, Henry Short, William Strutt, Sir William Woodhouse and Sir William Alexander Dargie. The production of the calendar was made possible with the generous support of the Agnes Robertson Trust.
