Mr Tulk Now Open Late on Fridays

10 November 2006

From today, the Library's cafe Mr Tulk is extending its opening hours from 7pm to 9pm on Friday evenings. So, if you've spent a busy day in the Library's reading rooms and need a reward for your bibliographic efforts, or you're planning a night out in the city, come in and take advantage of the later hours.

The licensed cafe offers drinks, snacks and meals in a beautifully furnished space. The north-facing outside terrace captures plenty of sunshine and is a pleasant place any time of the day. Inside, there's room for around 80 people, perfect for an end-of-week evening celebration, a leisurely lunch or a daytime coffee catch-up with friends.

If you're a regular Saturday afternoon cafe visitor, you'll need to keep an eye on the time - the cafe is now closing at 4pm instead of 5pm.
