Dark Void Zero screens

Capcom has released a batch of new shots for its Dark Void Zero DS NES-style 2D side-scrolling action game.

Zero sees you taking on the role of Rusty, one of the characters in the console game (which isn't out yet), who like William Grey plans to liberate the humans, says Official Nintendo Magazine.

The mag says the game is a retro NES-style 2D side-scrolling action game which has you running around levels taking out enemies. You'll have six different weapons and pick-ups at your disposal as you run around three levels gunning down the bad guys. You can also use a jet pack to fly around.
