Sony's launched a new PSPgo promotion that sees new and old PSPgo customers receiving a free game.
From today any new customers who buy a PSPgo - or existing owners who download the PSPgo Promotion Theme from PSN - can choose from either Gran Turismo, MotorStorm Arctic Edge or Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines to download completely free. How nice of them.
To recieve your freebie all you have to do is set up or sign into your PlayStationNetwork account, then visit the PlayStation Store to download a special PSPgo Promotion Theme, says the PS Blog.
"This will trigger an email from PlayStationStore containing an e-voucher. Enter the code onto the PlayStationStore via your PSPgo and select which game you would like to download," it says. "The voucher will be with you within a week, but you should get it much quicker than that."
This offer starts today 1st December and will run until midnight on the 10th January 2010. For the full details and a step by step guide visit eu.playstation.com/pspgopromotion.
I still think this is a crap deal, it's still not worth it when you consider that a lot of the gems on the psp are umd only and highly unlikely to change, plus your limited to the rather horrid selection on psn and last but not least there aren't any real flaws with a 3000, without the umd the go is very limited and a very bad purchase, not only is the consumer limited to psn when a 3000 has both but you also almost forfeit importing, and the us psn isn't much better.
Sweet! This will be my 5th free game from Sony after buying the Go. They're a decent bunch really. Now to decide. Motorstorm would be my first choice but I've already got 2 racing games. Hmm.

I decided on getting a pspgo a few days ago when my xbox360 elite conked out for the last time... I loved crisis core (borrowed my sisters) and with mgs peace walked coming out soon thats enough reason for me to get one combined with the offer to buy one for 150 quid. I think I will get Assassins creed so I can use it to get stuff on Assassins creed 2 on ps3.

Umm why does my comment make me a fanboy wiiboycubed2009? I've owned a 360 for a few years but I just got fed up of the shabby hardware. I spend some time away from home with my job and a psp is a good time filler (with more games catering for my tastes). And seriously check out what your typing before you submit it. because surely you can't be that stupid with just one head on your shoulders.
