Prince of Persia UK trailer: New footage

More video of Jake Gyllenhaal jumping around
Disney's released the UK trailer for its Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie, which includes new footage and added voiceover action.

The Bruckheimer flick stars Jake Gyllenhaal as the Prince, Gemma Artertan as his missus and big, bad Ben Kingsley as the arch villain.

The North American trailer was released earlier this week.

Previously Ubisoft declined to comment on reported plans for a new Prince of Persia game set to be unveiled on or around the movie's May 2010 release.

I don't know when I last said this, as games that go to films usually suck majorly, but:

That looks bloody brilliant!

I've seen both trailers now, and originally I thought Jake sucked for the part, and they should have gotten Oded Fehr for the part (original mummy, guy in black robes on horseback), but they've got Jake looking the part.

I have extremely high hopes for this now, especially with Bruckheimer involved!

Gonna be awesome to see one of my favourite game series coming to the big screen, and actually hopefully being very very good. I don't think the guys behind it would allow it to be any less than good.

Awesome!

They managed to make a great film from little more than a theme park ride, so hopefully they can do what almost everyone else has failed to do, and make a good film from a video game.

strange how its the sands of time but prince is wearing the more gothic warrior within clothes. Is there any news about all 3 games being made into films or is it just 1
