First Wii Poképark footage

In-game glimpse of new Pokémon
The first ever footage of Poképark, the new Pokémon Wii game staring Pikachu, appeared on the latest episode of Japanese TV show Pokémon Sunday and you can see it here.

Poképark: Pikachu's Great Adventure will be out in December in Japan, but Nintendo is yet to give an ETA on a UK release. Chalk it down for early 2010 for now.

According to various translations, of the Japanese announcement, you play as Pikachu and have to make friends by playing mini-games, like tag, battle and quiz.

Your new friends will then help you with the various Poké Park attraction challenges which include a Furi Furi Dash, Habataki Sky Race and Marine Slider. In Furi Furi Dash you'll be racing by shaking the Remote, Habataki Sky Race features flying Pokémon while you'll need to use Pokémon who are good at swimming in Marine Slider.
