Capcom said Super Street Fighter IV will be out in Spring 2010, but US retailer GameStop has waded in with a more specific 'March 23'.
The listing also slaps a $39.99 (£25) price tag on it and opened pre-orders. Guesswork, it may be, but all eyes will be on it releasing in late March, at least.

SSFIV is set to include new playable characters, improved online features and rebalanced original fighters, says Capcom.
Roughly eight new playable characters are planned including a brand-new, original female character named Juri and the return of Super Street Fighter II combatant, T. Hawk. But if you already own SFIV, you won't have the option to pay a small fee to grab just the updated content via a download pack. You'll have to buy the whole thing again.
I'll definitely pick it up at some point, but there are a hell of a lof of good games coming out in March next year. Hopefully it will be up for sale at around Ł20.

Agreed. As it won't be a completely new experience, it can wait a while. I think it should be Ł20 from launch.

Really looking forward to this, but won't pay more than Ł30 for it. The only problem is that since this has been announced, there doesn't seem to be as many people playing the original which sucks as I keep getting people with crap internet connections. Booo!!!

I haven't noticed any change in the amount of people playing since the announcement. There aren't as many people as when it launched but that's to be expected... And I have a feeling most of the people crying about how 'it should be DLC', 'it should be no more than a tenner', 'wah, wah, waah...' are the ones that gave up on it a long time ago anyway. The currently active community seems more than happy with SSFIV's current direction.

At 25 quid it'll sell by the sh!tload! I'm gonna have to buy it again anyway! I was addited to SF4 and played every night for about half a year until Batman enticed me away....!
