Kane & Lynch 2 spotted

'Dog Days' trademarked by Eidos
A sequel to Eidos and IO's Kane & Lynch has been spotted in the wild, by means of a trademark filed by the publisher earlier this month.

'Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days' was filed by Eidos on July 8, pretty much confirming that the long-rumoured sequel is indeed a reality.

Other than that, we know pretty much nowt. It's probably a given that the game follow-up will coincide with the upcoming movie adaptation, which is said to star Bruce Willis as Kane.

Despite its glitchy problems and near impossible bosses (truck & copter)I loved the original K&L, still can't believe they missed out online co-op

Looking forward to a 'fixed' K&L

The first one was horrible and frustrating.

DO NOT WANT

The original demo was bad enough.

The fact that the first game was, frankly, toilet, is enough for me to think that the sequel will be vastly improved. The devs will be well aware of the formers failings, and will do what it can to fix them.

I am willing to bet that this sequel is loads better.

i quite liked the original game, especially the prison mission and the one where you rappell down the building. it had a lot of problems though and i think if they're fixed then it will be an amazing game

I got really frustrated with the original.. I played it and got stuck.

However, I left it for a few months then on a whim played it again and sailed through it. It was wierd how easy it seemed when I went back to it.

It wasn't a bad game, just not a great game!

I only played the demo but felt it was a good idea done poorly.

As Marty said they must know what they did wrong by now, Il give it another chance.

But will it be improved enough? That is the question.

The first one wasnt so bad but yeah the truck boss was a bit hard. And did it remind anyone of yoda? It's a bit of a strange question but i thought i might but it out there

...whilst not a great game, the first was unfairly critisized.....if u tweaked the control settings properly it was quite a fun game....good story....some good set sequences as well......

if they iron out controls, online and come up with another good story, it may be one to watch.....

whether you enjoyed the first game or not it's biggest crime was the omittance of online co-op...
