I'm still not completely sold on it but feel I have to get my money's worth by grinding through... The demo is great, just ordered the full game from Amazon for 17 quid.
Best graphics i've ever seen, so realistic.
Game play might not be for everyone though but if you want a realistic war sim, not just a shooter, this is the game for you.
Everyone should try the demo though just to see the graphics in motion. Can anyone tell me if this is going to come out on 360/ps3 as it was 1st announced my pc is a bit sick right now and cant run it smoothly :(
I guess as i cant find any new info on a console release it doesnt look good. Anyone have any news? To be honest there hasn't been word for a while but they have definitely been working on an Xbox version. No statements saying they've stopped development on it. This is at the moment a very average game.
It's just as broken as Armed Assault was when that was released.
Avoid for 6 months and the issues will be fixed hopefully. Graphics are very average but that is not what the game is about.
It's about combat realism which it does very well (when the game ain't crashing)
So lets hope they fix this game because its going in the DVD rack until patch 1.08 like last time!
Also GTA IV at "Very High" runs at an average of 67FPS on my computer and Arma2 runs at an average of 30...That's saying something that BIS should be embarrassed about! Poor optimization. |
