*******s. Don't get me wrong, it is quite nice - but, considering the sheer amount of Batman collectables out there, you'd probably be better off using the extra £20 finding something at Forbidden Planet.
Mind you - the SF4 Collectors Edition seems to have dropped radically in price recently....so, this may also.
I'm still looking for a good pre-order price for this game....£37.96 at Amazon is the best at the moment - at that price, I'd be more likely to pick up a copy in town on the day of release.
:) Must... resist... preordering expensive extras... oh, who am I kidding, I bought the MGS4 and GTA4 limited editions! *goes off to pre-order Arkham Asylum LE* Only problem is the batarang is in day-glo pink, so as not to be mistaken for a real one. :lol: I can see the tabloids now:

:roll: You jest but did anyone see the "canteen" that came with the COD: World at War collectors edition? the bloody thing was welded shut! What was the point in that? Or was it a case of last minute nerves that it would promote drinking? One for the fanboys I think, I don't realy think a plastic batarang justifies an extra £20, I don't mind limited editions, I'll even buy em if they're a fiver or a tenner more but when they start getting silly like the SR2 and GOW2 ones with the plastic guns and charging silly money then no thank you. £20 more for smething thats gonna gather dust on a shelf or hide away in the draw or cupboard. I'll stick with the standard edition when it comes out. Fot you this may be worthless but for nerds everywhere this is a chance to cause minor havok by launching batmarangs at random people |
