Data Link Digivice/Digivice Burst
The Data Link Digivice is the Digivice used by the team in Digimon Data Squad. Marcus carries an orange Digivice, Yoshi a pink, and Thomas a blue, Keenan a purple, Sampson a red, Yushima a green, and Megumi and Miki carry gray/white Digivices.

The Data Link Digivice holds many important uses. It is able to absorb the partner Digimon and store them in the Digivice. This is useful for when the DATS member must travel with their Digimon so that the Digimon will not be spotted. The Data Link Digivice, like most Digivices of past series, are able to locate Digimon that may be nearby.

Probably the most important role the Data Link Digivice plays comes into play when the partner Digimon is in need of Digivolving. The human partner accesses their DNA Charge- emotion and energy that is gathered within their fist or body- and loads it into the Digivice through the port on top. The energy then transfers to the Digimon and allows the Digimon to Digivolve.

The Digivice Burst is an upgraded version of the Data Link Digivice. When Marcus, Thomas, and Yoshino needed the ability to Digivolve their Digimon to the Mega level, their Digivices were not able to withstand the great power that was surging through them and shattered. After training with BanchoLeomon, the team was able to hone their desire to protect their Digimon partners, controlling their emotion and ultimately their DNA Charge with their own will. A new, stronger DNA Charge was born and with it, their Digivice Data Links were able to reformat into Digivice Bursts as seen to the left.

The Digivice Burst is able to withstand the DNA Charge used to Digivolve to the Mega level.
