The Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod believes that education should address the whole person — body, mind, and spirit — in an system that starts in early childhood, is emphasized through the elementary and high school years and continues throughout a church worker's professional life.
Child Ministry serves as a connecting resource for leaders and workers as they affect children's lives with the love of Jesus, so every child may know and experience His grace.
School Ministry assists, equips and uplifts school educators, district staff, especially education executives and congregational leaders, so that through them children may be equipped as disciples of Jesus Christ.
The Board for Higher Education supports and guides the two LCMS seminaries, which supply pastors for LCMS congregations, and governs the Synod's Concordia University System, which consists of 10 colleges and universities:

CUEnet is a videoconferencing network fostering distance education learning within the various educational entities of the Synod.
For the Sake of the Church is a 12-year/$400 million endowment effort designed to double the LCMS student enrollment in the Concordia University System and assist every young person in the membership to attend one of the 10 colleges or universities.
District Financial Aid Application --District offices offer various amounts of financial aid for students attending a Concordia University System school. Preference may be given to students entering full-time church work. Please contact the appropriate District Financial Aid Contact Person.
The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod also focuses on promoting and facilitating the professional growth and personal well-being of LCMS church workers through the Commission on Ministerial Growth and Support.
