The process for determining the candidates for the elections of President, First Vice-President, and other Vice-Presidents by the 2007 convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod has been completed. Because of the high level of interest in the Synod in knowing the names of the candidates and vote tallies for these offices, the names of the candidates for President and First Vice-President were released in an earlier news release when the final slates were known. The slate for Vice-Presidents two through five has now also been determined, and the names of the twenty candidates are listed below.
