The blog Eat Me Daily posted a video clip yesterday from the opening of Thursday's 30 Rock where Gavin Volure, the eccentric billionaire played by Steve Martin asks what the good cupcake spots are in New York. Tina Fey's food crazy Upper West Sider Liz Lemon quickly fires back, "77th and Amsterdam, 68th and Columbus, 125th and President Clinton Boulevard." The blog noted that the uptown Magnolia Bakery is actually at 69th and Columbus, but......

The Boston priest arrested for stalking "Late Night" talk-show host Conan O'Brien has been found fit for trial. A Manhattan judge declared the Reverend David Ajemian mentally fit for trial after a court-appointed psychologist examined him. Ajemian was arrested after issuing a number of threats to the host of the NBC talk show host and attempts to get into an O'Brien taping. Ajemian was relatively more unhinged than your average show biz stalker. He was......

For the past few weeks, an art gallery has been locked down by judge's order as angry partners and clients claimed that the gallery sold their works without permission and that the gallery's owner reneged on millions of dollars of debts. And yesterday, a judge toured the toured embattled art gallery Salander O'Reilly to examine its conditions as many artworks are still hanging on the walls. The accusations range from John McEnroe and other investors......

When he announced he would retire after the U.S. Open, Andre Agassi made himself the story until he is eliminated. That almost came sooner than fans -- or CBS and USA -- wanted. Agassi survived three tiebreaks and beat Andrei Pavel in four sets to advance to a second-round match against Marcos Baghdatis on Thursday. The 36-year-old could have given up when, after splitting the first two sets on tiebreakers, he fell behind 4-0 in......

The Larry Brown era may be over, but that doesn't mean we can't relive it through the magic of Youtube. The advertisement features Spike "I Wear Size 9's" Lee and a cutout of the masterful former Knicks coach, Larry Brown. Spike carries the Brown cutout and preaches the need for defense. Gothamist would love to see an updated version of this commercial now with Isiah Thomas. "Wins, we need some wiiiiiiiins, you hear that?"......

Now, with this season of The Apprentice" href="http://www.nbc.com/nbc/The_Apprentice_2/index.shtml">The Apprentice may not have captured our heart the way the first season did, but Gothamist will admit tonight's dismissal of Stacy Rotner thrilled us. This Stacy, the Jewish, short, lawyer Stacy (vs. the black, tall, restaurateur Stacie) was not as "crazy" as Stacie J., but let's face it, she was more hideously conniving and annoying. We can't believe she stayed on for so long and must thank......

It's no secret that Gothamist is excited about Anchorman, considering that we lurve Will Ferrell. But we must say, regular non-costumed Will Ferrell is just as awesome, as proven by this clip of Will Ferrell ambushing the CNBC anchors during Power Lunch. Will seems to have been taping an episode of John McEnroe's new show, but he got loose and went to bother the anchors. It's amazing, especially with Will asking Sue Herera if they......
