If you're reading this then you're now viewing the website on the new server. Hopefully you should be finding that the pages are loading a bit faster now!
I'd like to say a big thank you to Mark and Anthony from Hi-Velocity for sorting out the co-location for me. I know they worked until very late the other night, and it's certainly not fun working for long periods of time in data-centres.
I've also now put up an about page, following the requests of many users to be able to help the site. I also express my thanks to those who have helped (and continue to help!) the site on there.
We also hit another small mile-stone a few days ago - we've now topped 30,000 registrations taken by this site! This is quite a feat, as it was only about a month ago that I reported we'd taken 10,000 registrations. I'm still trying to get us a more real-time registration system, as lately the delays in registrations appearing has been anything from a few hours to 5 days. Still, keep sending them in. We'll be at 800,000 preregistrations before long.
Anyway, if you spot any errors in your travels around the new server, please please tell me. Thanks! |
