Register your interest in faster broadband services

Posted: Friday 13th February 2004 by Sam
With 99%+ of the UK able to receive broadband by 2005, there has understandably been lot's of talk about what will come next. What are the next generation broadband services? When will they be implemented? How much demand is there for them?

As you can appreciate, the deployment of any service, be it broadband or anything else, is driven by demand. This will be true of the next generation services too, so it would be very useful to know just how many people are interested in the various faster services on the horizon. However, nobody has yet organised a method of gathering interest in this area.

This is what the new Faster Services Form is all about. We want to find out how many people are interested in the next generation services, where that interest lies and how much they'd expect to pay for it. The idea is to periodically analyse the results and publish them on this site. We may well expand this form depending on user feedback and popularity - so let us know what you think!

Anyway, I've kept this brief, but there's a much more detailed rant on the form itself for those who are interested :-)
