BT to use wireless broadband for the triggerless 600

Posted: Thursday 5th February 2004 by Sam
The Register carries the story that BT are going to be deploying wireless kit for the 600 exchanges that do not currently have a trigger level.

This isn't really new news, as it has long been known that BT were trialling such systems in Cornwall, Scotland and Wales for this very purpose.

The announcement that the trials had been successfully completed was made by BT's Pierre Danon at the Broadband Edge conference today. You can watch the remainder of this conference live by clicking here. A low bandwidth version is available for 56K/ISDN users.
