The registration drought is over

Posted: Monday 5th January 2004 by Sam
I received word this morning that the BT FastPROBE system has come back to life. Apparently it was out of service since Friday, and as you will have seen, almost no registrations have appeared since then.

Registrations should begin filtering in throughout the day. I've got a huge update lined up for 1pm, so keep your eyes peeled :-)

Update (8pm): Well the update at 1pm went off without a hitch. There's been approximately 1400 new registrations in total today so far. Don't worry if your figures have not yet updated. I know some ISP's are resubmitting their registrations this evening, and they should show up over the next day or so.

Update (10pm): Nearly hit 2200 registrations for today, which is pretty high for one day. We'll be through the 700,000 preregistration barrier before you can say antidisestablishmentarianism! :D

Update (midnight): I've added a simple page which shows how many registrations were accumulated in total each day. The page can be seen by clicking here.
