As almost everyone reading this will be aware, the site was down from 11am to 6:35pm today. This was caused by a "Major Service Outage" at BT's Reading POP, causing a whole bunch of areas in the south to be cut off - including where this site is hosted.
I'm extremely sorry to everyone who was affected - particularly those who use the data from my site. I realise that a lot of the websites were inoperable as a result, and that's just not acceptable.
As a result of this, I'm now looking for proper hosting for my website. So if you know of a good (and cheap - I'm a student remember!) hosting company that offers Unix hosting with SSH support, let me know!
Once again, sorry to everyone affected. I'm trying hard to ensure that I don't have another repeat of today.
