In the past few days we've introduced Pipex's LLU data to the website. With 11 exchanges now unbundled, they are moving customers on these exchanges on to the LLU platform in order to save costs and provide potentially enhanced services in the future. A further 2 exchanges are due to go live in the coming weeks, and many more are expected after that too. Thanks to Pipex for providing the data, and thanks to Hugh M for providing the necessary introductions!
Pipex are not the only ISP in the early stages of an LLU deployment though. Zen Internet, recently voted best ISP for customer satisfaction in a survey by Which?, have also provided details of their new LLU exchanges. Serving around 127,000 homes and businesses, Zen have unbundled three exchanges in the Manchester area, with a fourth due to come online next week.
