Yesterday saw the launch of the Hampshire Broadband website. This is a collaboration between Hampshire County Council and Wired Wessex. It aims to raise awareness about broadband and to find solutions for areas that are not yet covered. One feature that will be useful to campaigners is the ability to create your own campaign site online without needing any programming skills.
This launch is of particular interest to me for two reasons;
(1) I used to live in Hampshire and have worked/spoken with alot of the people running campaigns in the area.
(2) The company that developed the site was my former employer, Datasouth UK. Nice work guys :) |
