Tomorrow is the day that the new ADSL limits are put in to effect, allowing a further 1 million people to be able to access ADSL broadband.
However, a number of people have been in touch to ask exactly when the limits will take effect, and contrary to what many believe, it is not midnight tonight. The changes will actually take effect at 7am, in line with most of BT's previous changes. Anyone ordering before this time will do so with the old limits in place.
Although most ISP's have had a couple of weeks to prepare their systems for the change, it is also possible that delays will occur at their end.
For these reasons I would suggest leaving orders for a couple of days, and waiting for things to settle down. |
