BT Wholesale have this afternoon told service providers that the prices of the business products "IPStream Office" and "IPStream S" are to rise from the 1st September 2004.
The price rises affect the standard charging model only, and are as follows:

These changes represent an average 19% increase across the board. This may be a move to push lower-end business users towards capacity-based-charging (CBC), and force those who really need unlimited bandwidth to pay extra for the privilege.
Whether or not ISP's will pass on this new price increase is unclear, but I suspect the effects will become apparent over the coming days. |
