Liberia to launch 36Mbps wireless service in London

Posted: Tuesday 8th June 2004 by Sam
Liberia, a new company launched this afternoon at VON Europe, will trial 36Mbps wireless broadband access in London's Docklands area this summer. Following successful trials they aim to have all of Greater London covered by Q2 2005.

The service is being pushed as a stop-gap between copper-based DSL and fibre-optic communications. Although pricing has not yet been decided, the service will be targeted at business users and will be priced accordingly.
