BT Wholesale have just released a further 28 RFS dates. The remaining exchanges which have either triggered or were included in the list of 42 above 90%, will have their RFS dates released tomorrow. Todays list of 28 is as follows:
Newburgh (Fife) 15/09/2004 Slamannan 10/11/2004 Bainbridge 08/12/2004 Cutnall Green 08/12/2004 Eardiston 08/12/2004 Masham 15/12/2004 St Keverne 15/12/2004 Aultbea 22/12/2004 Earl Soham 05/01/2005 Dalmally 26/01/2005 Buchlyvie 02/03/2005 Kirkpatrick Durham 09/03/2005 Uplawmoor 09/03/2005 Dolwyddelan 30/03/2005 | St Briavels 30/03/2005 Tregony 30/03/2005 Studland 27/04/2005 Comrie 04/05/2005 Limekilns 04/05/2005 Watten 04/05/2005 Newburgh 08/06/2005 Avebury 06/07/2005 Crossford 06/07/2005 Bampton 27/07/2005 Dymock 27/07/2005 Glamis 27/07/2005 Lamlash 27/07/2005 Velindre 27/07/2005 |
This means that tomorrows release should contain 60 RFS dates (55 triggered exchanges + 5 of the original 42 who were within 10% of triggering when the preregistration scheme closed).
Let's hope that BT is able to move a few of these more distant RFS dates (such as Velindre's 27th July 2005) forward. It is worth pointing out that after the end of June it is extremely unlikely that any RFS dates will be moved at all. This is because the 150-day limit on pre-ordering for ADSL is being removed, meaning that you could pre-order even if the RFS date was over a year away. But once an ISP begins taking pre-orders, BT are very unlikely to want to be moving RFS dates! |
